I mean just Hopkins having and Undefeated Trinidad on his resume ****s on Calzaghes wins over Lacy or Kessler. Plus Hopkins was the Undisputed Middleweight champ for years!

And Hopkins Whooped a prime undefeated Johnson. The same Johnson Calzaghe ducked.

Calzaghe title reign is a joke. Hopkins title reign is better then average.
I wouldn't say that.....Tito had 1 MW fight and Kessler and Lacy each were much more proven at SMW than Tito was at MW.

Tito knocked out a PRIME Joppy who was a middleweight Champion and never been stopped before. Tito to me was a BIG welterweight and was probably a natural 154 pounder. but Tito was Knocking out everybody at 154 also.

1 fight, it was impressive but since ppl **** of Joe for what happened to Lacy after Joe exposed him and Kessler most recently.....what happened to Joppy after that? I guess that impacts Tito's win huh just like so many say Ward dominating Kessler impacts Joe's win over him.....while we are on the subject what happened to Tito after Hopkins? should that minimize the impact of the win?
Both Kessler and Lacy were unbeaten SMW belt holders and Joe beat them both in impressive fashion.

tito had already proven himself. he beat the best welterweight in the world. he beat the 2 best junior middleweights in the world. he beat the second best middleweight in the world. lacy beat no absolutely no one and kessler only beat mundine, andrade, and beyer. great stuff. so it is relevant what they do after losing to calzaghe since they didn't do much before fighting him.

No, below MW nothing matters as it pertains to the Hopkins fight....he had 1 MW fight and won in impressive fashion. Lets not say that was a great win for Hopkins but then go around and say Joe beating 2 unbeaten world champions mean jack ****.....it doesn't work that way.

As disappointed as I am in Hopkins' lack of desire to fight the best right now, I have to admit that Calzaghe went out of his way to avoid the best and try to make a point of not fighting them throughout his whole career. It's like he made an effort to stay away from them. It's the truth.

so you are Comparing Lacy and Kessler accomplishments to Tito's?? lol

Tito was already a PROVEN great fighter when HOpkins fought him.

Lacy and Kessler were nothing but hyped up PROSPECTS with titles. Who were the great Fighters that Kessler and Lacy beat? I know Tito was the Champ at 147 and 154. then Knocked out Joppy. Tito ruined Joppy and Joppy then got Whooped for 12 rounds by B-Hop.
