Also in regards to the thread title, it's completely inaccurate. Manny didn't get more shredded as he gained weight. He's looked more and more softer than he used to since going to 140+lbs. 130 and -lbs he was shredded. Not anymore. He's as normal as any other fighter with that type physique. Have you seen Valero? I guess he's juicing also...Comment

So why doesnt he just take the tests...I mean hes clean as a whistle...lets fight.Cause in the gym he was burning off the calories like crazy while training. So he was losing too much weight and thus he would be a smaller fighter on fight night. They had to keep him big while he's training hard. Otherwise he'd be smaller than he was in the ring against Cotto. I'm surprised Roach hasn't come out to talk about it more, but I guess he doesn't want to lay out his entire gym regime just to satisfy brainless accusations. It's as if Floyd barely works out to get his physique. It's an insult really.
The Blood will weaken execuse is out the window.....
He had a tube of Blood drawn 14 days before the Hatton fight....then he KO'd him in 2 rounds without breaking a sweat...it didnt weaken him.
And that was a tube of blood.....The tests requires a teaspoon.Comment

Cause it's a moral victory for Floyd. Something Pac doesn't want to give into. This is Floyd's version of a stare down. Seeing if the other man will blink. If Floyd gets Manny to do that, he'll feel he already go into Manny. Manny has nothing to hide but at the same time, he has to hold his ground on this bs accusation, otherwise Floyd gets a build of confidence. So why doesnt he just take the tests...I mean hes clean as a whistle...lets fight.

When he was at 130lbs, his walk around was 150lbs. His natural weight pretty much. So forcing himself down that much made him look shredded because he was killing himself to lose the weight. That's why on fight night he ballooned up to 146lbs on most of his 130lbs fights. Now he is fighting at his walk around weight pretty much. If you think about it, Pac never really grew that much since 130lbs. He only had to cut weight. Now he's fighting at his walkaround weight. People make his weight climb a big deal but really it was his ability to cut weight and still be effective that made him successful at the lower weight classes. The whole roid talk is such bs by people that can't use facts or can't comprehend basic logistics with the human body.
You can see the striations on his core muscles at 144. Not the outline of the musculature his abs (the "six pack), the actual strips of muscles that comprise his core.... You have to be very, very, lean to see that. How in the world did he ever diet down to 130 looking like that already at 144-150...it's unfathomable. He has to be at no more than 6-7% body fat at 144. It would be almost impossible for a man of his level of leaness to get any leaner and lose 14 (think about it, 14!) pounds in the process. He would be a corpse. It the Cotto weigh in that made believe that something was not right. In all of my years, I'm 32, of powerlifting, olympic lifting, and weight lifting I have never seen a natural weightlifter (somebody who actually dedicates a considerable amount of time to physical culture) gain considerable amount of muscular weight while also reducing or maintaining fat levels. It just doesn't happen that way. And if it does, it takes years. Not one year...years of training.
Look at photos of some of the 40's and 50's bodybuilders before steroids took over, and you'll see what I mean. They were big, but not freakishly big. They were lean, but not freakishly lean. And they definitely were not freakishly lean while putting on 10-15 pounds. I'm sorry, the photos and numbers don't add up., at least to me.Comment
