Because Cotto was a bigger name than Paulie and more of a threat. Plus Cotto has his own following aswell. People have to underrstand going into any fight both fighters are always going to have fans. Sometimes one fighter has more than the other. Then you have the boxing fans that just want to see the fight for the outcome. Those fans are kind of supporting both fighters.
