I can't imagine paying to watch Malignaggi fight. Hell, I wouldn't have paid to watch him fight when he wasn't already past his prime, why on earth would I pay to watch him fight now?

The card would basically have to have another big name on it in order for me to justify it. As much as I love seeing Malignaggi bleed profusely from the face, I can download that the next day without any real worries.

I think the main thing that Top Rank and GBP need to realize is that if they want the sport to succeed they can't charge fans $50 to see a popular fighter fight a nobody.

I would pay $50 to watch Pac and Floyd fight each other, but I wouldn't pay $50 to watch either of them fight Malignaggi. They need to start making these events worth the money. More names on the cards, more undercards shown on the PPV. There's usually 7-10 undercard fights, let me watch them. Let me feel like my $50 is getting me more than < 36 minutes of a one sided fight.
