After Froch bludgeons Kessler...

I think people are going to be very surprised with the outcome of this one. A lot of people don't care for Froch, but I don't think he is that bad. No he is definitely not the most skilled fighter I have ever seen. However, he talks a lot of ****, hits hard, has a solid chin, and hates Calzaghe. What's not to like about him? I do think he got a gift against Dirrell, and was very lucky to beat Taylor. The Kessler fight will be different though. Neither one has very good movement, but Froch did find a way to hit a very good Jean Pascal. Kessler didn't land anything on Ward. People on this site had better quit underestimating Froch. Now styles do make fights, and this one could go either way. Kessler just has never been that impressive to me. He got way over rated because he gave Calzaghe a tough fight. What else has the guy done? I got Froch in this on by a close unanimous decision.

Find a way to hit Pascal?

Pascal was standing toe to toe. It's not like Pascal was jabbing. Both had very close rounds but Froch edged most slightly.

When Taylor gassed, he was easy to hit. Froch has power, but not above Kessler.

Kessler has better foot work than Froch IMO. Froch has trouble turning around.

Kessler is as text book as you like, which is good for Froch who carved out a very good career fighting Kessler-types from all over europe.

He even won fighter of the tournament in Copenhagen during the Box-cup of Europe, battering one their top guys.

The first round will begin and you will see Kessler backing up as soon as Froch lands anything of note.

Kessler is the next best thing to Calzaghe in his eyes. He's had "Kessler this, Kessler that" from Calzaghe for the last years - and by going to Kessler's hometown and doing a proper number on him, he will bury that ghost.

Froch has come off three wins against fast handed, athletic black guys. All had skillz and all had top honours whether that be as a pro or an amateur.

When i look at Kessler's record i see Anthony Mudine (a guy heading to 154 now) and and old, washed up Marcus Beyer. The rest would not rank in the top 10 nowadays and i include nearly-man Andrade in that.

Kessler will have the pressure of coming of a bad loss and performing in style in front of his countrymen.

The bookies have Froch the slight underdog - based on what i dont know!

I had froch beating dirrel by 2 points but I give credit to dirrell for giving a good performance. This fight though is different and I can see froch beating kessler more decisivly tbh because he's a lot more easier to hit than dirrell.

I just looked at boxrec. Froch has a 1 and a half inch longer reach which is true, and he is taller by 4 cm, but some reason both are listed as 6 foot 1 lol. edit: actually they are both 6 1. froch at 185 and kessler at 185.

Personally I don't think the size is a difference in this fight. Kessler has the speed, and will reach Froch faster.

Kessler types are no where near as a good as Kessler. Froch has had a close but deciseinve fight with Pascal who isn't a great fighter at all. Diancou who?

Taylor was beating him until he gassed out and got hit. I give Froch for carrying on though.

Dirrel is green and had the wrong gameplan. He was very close to winning in my eyes.

I'm not hating on him, but he isn't better than Kessler in my eyes.

Size doesn't win fights or as you said, frank would beat Tyson.
Also as you said about kessler knows how to lose and froch doesn't. As said before, Manny Paqciao has lost manny times, but he can beat people like bradley who is undefeated.

Skills pay the bills, and Kessler has a good chin to take this win. Froch won't KO him. and I don't think he can win more than 6 rounds VS this style. Kessler has a great jab and stands his ground, which is the wrong style for Froch since he loves coming forward.
