Integrity of the Nevada Commission

Mr. Schaefer seems to indicate that there is something wrong with the integrity of the Nevada Commission when it comes to drug-testing to boxers. What can you say about that, management of the Nevada Commission? Why did the Mayweather camp wants the fight held in Nevada and yet do not want the Nevada Commission handle the management of drug testing? There is really something wrong on this. I think the nevada Commission should speak about its integrity to the press too. This is getting to be a bigger issue than just the Pacquiao Mayweather fight.

TBH with you Melly, I can't pull all of this aside man. The reason I can't is because the guy looks so guilty right now (I won't blame him without proof). This is SADLY THE STERIOD/PED era that we live in. I mean, if you are clean as a whistle, you will adhere to whatever testing they ask of you. But they came out with a BUNCH of excuses about why they would NOT do all of the random blood testing and just yesterday I believe Manny asked for a 30 day cut off. As a athlete and fan of boxing (fan of Manny especially of late), I just can NOT overlook that. I'm being as real as I can be right now bro. Also, for Ariza to say that Manny don't know what he takes, just he (Ariza) does raises RED FLAGS FOR ME.

i feel you, but till proven guilty i think manny is clean, and i have no reason to think he did the juice just cause sr, or who ever made accusations. he never failed any required test, and just because he won't let pbf's camp dictate what, or how he is tested does not prove guilt, or even imply it imo. i can uderstand his thought about it, and as a man i would not bow down to anyone trying to make me do something that no other fighters have had to do.....either. it's discriminatory. unless of course he was refusing to take a mandated test by the respective sanctioning bodies. that's a different story. all this **** aside, manny is the best fighter to have graced this sport in the last decade. easily!

History will also show that Mayweather started at the welterweight division in 2005 and in a span of five years did not face Cotto,Margarito,Shane, PWill,Clottey and any other top rated welterweights, opting instead to participate in "event" fights that while padding his bank account did very little for his legacy.

Lance Armstrong is presumed to have taken PEDs as well but having never tested positive once, his legacy remains intact, the same will be said for Pac unless of course the rumors turn out to be true.

What's indefensible to me and many others is that while Pac/Malignaggi is being balked at by boxing fans, I guarantee that if Mayweather faces Matthew Hatton as was his original intent, his fans will be fine with that and find a reason to excuse yet another mismatch.

I think that your headlines "Manny-Paulie looms"... is far too negative, and casts a dark blanket over the prospect that fans and viewers would find this fight entertaining, let alone, enjoyable.

I look forward to such a fight, which would pit a top fighter against a very good boxer. So what can be wrong with that?

Malinaggi has proven to the boxing world, that he's clever, with good stamina, a very tough jaw, and full of bravery, and I have a lot of repect for him, a guy who goes into the ring with killers, knowing he can't hurt them, but not only NOT letting them chase him around, but fully expecting that he'll win.

You have to respect a guy like that.... Chris Byrd is like that..... So was Willie Pep.

What more could we want.

I'd venture to say, that the main difference having Malinaggi instead of Mayweather, would be losing that great feeling of satisfaction every time Mayweather would get a belt in the mouth.

why talk about the past when the present is SO MUCH MORE IMPORTANT THOUGH...none of those guys you name are on the level of Manny.
