You have lost total perspective of the implications involved here .

No athlete is above using PED I do not care who they are or what they seem to be, any athlte who strongly fights better testing is a huge red flag.

I do not see anything wrong with what was asked, and Manny can say no but turning down the biggest fight in atleast a decade over stronger drug testing is not a very good look.
.....and that is what blows my mind. Some people just want to argue about anything when it deals with Mayweather.

If something changes, there is always a first time..... maybe this will change boxing and the way they do testing or at least one hopes.

I think it will be a good idea for GBP to insist NSAC themselves to conduct the blood test if the're really up to it and not from outside party as Arum abides any test NSAC will be doing.

I think this would be a good fight to set an example with being that it is the most high profile fight with the two most high profile fighters. Just because they want to start it now for whatever reason baseless or not does not make it any less of a good idea, I would have liked to see it back then.

Now I really want to see it with this fight because of how Manny has reacted becase it raises a red flag to me, if this demand had not been asked and nothing was said I would not have thought much of it but Floyd asking for this and getting this reaction from Manny amkes me want to see it. I still would want random blood testing in the sport though even if I didn't care if it was in this fight or not.
I am OK with the blood testing starting for this fight. That is fine with me. I am not arguing that. But, I would like at least some kind of guarantee that we would get it for future fights. Make mandatory for just titles fights, make it a mandatory for just PPV fights, Just make it some kind of a mandatory. Because, it we will be wrong if this is the only fight that ever gets random blood testing. And, that is my point.

Umm... Because WINNING is probably a concern.

If feeling disrespected is why Pacquiao is walking away from the biggest fight in recent boxing history, that is just plain ******.
No its being called a *****, or AT LEAST people would be saying that if this was Mayweather...... but since its Pac its called being disrespected.....

I agree with you and I hate Mayweather.

              WTF.. Paquiao vs Malignaggi?

From the start they should of went at the commission. Have them make it a mandatory. And, we would not be in this mess.

You dont negotiate with the commission, You do it with your opponents team, Team Pac didnt have to negotiate with the commission to fight cotto at 145 for his 147 belt.

Everything has to start somewhere and it would take time for something like this to become a standard but this would be a huge first step.

That is a cop out arguement because nothing will come of that. Going with a third party that is negotiated assures that somethign actually gets done.

It does matter who asked... If we never see random blood testing ever again and nobody gets asked to do it ever again. That just means we was just prejudice towards one fighter.
