dude, when pacquiao, like many others, started their professional career, he was still a kid, he was in his boy body, and he has done nothing but grow and fill out into his peak physical self as a MAN, in his man body.

pac never blew up in weight between fights, and then dropped weight to make a certain division, he's moved up and be able to make weight in and around what he was at in his walking around weight.

the most he's ever gone up in weight has been the welterweight limit, and now that he's fighting there, his weight is around the same as when he weighs in.

everyone is acting like pac grew up overnight, this has been a process that has been building up to where it is today since 1995.............. i know when i was graduating from high school in 95', i was a freaking stick, now i have something like 50-60 lbs on me from then, some extra weight but still healthy and active non stop, it's what happens when you get older, ever wonder why mayweather is moving up in weight?

if you stay fit, have good genetics, and focus on gaining weight it's going to be all muscle, pacquiao has zero body fat, so muscle just looks extraordinary on him.

it's harder to stay at the same weight when getting older, guys like hopkins and calzaghe i admire because of their outside the ring dedication to maintaining their weight, a true fight against nature and father time.

people are forgetting about the time in which this all happened, from 1995 to 2009 going on to 2010, and you mean to tell me pacquiao can't gain that kind of weight, 41 pounds in 14 going on 15 years!?!?!?! get fricken real!
answer this honestly, do you think Pacquiao should take the tests?

When Pac was at the lower weights, he was young, poor, didn't eat properly etc. The weight gain is him natural growing, along with him being able to afford to eat fully, as for the speed and so on, I'd guess that his body becoming healthier and stronger by becoming better balanced, and naturally filling out, would aid in it..

I don't think much of the steroid accusations, tbh.

because there are no grounds for him to say Pacquiao isnt a great athlete with the capability to do things no other athlete can.

So Mayweather is a great athlete for his achievements but along comes a guy who just so happens to be of a different race and does all the same plus more than Mayweather and he has to have had help because there's no way he's that great of an athlete.

No you are blind if you couldn't see that floyd all want is to find every possible way to make this fight not to happen if he didn't get a major advantage against pac, he has all the advantages the height, weight (he will outweigh pac by 10-15lbs in fight night), venue and now he want's another advantages by draining pacs blood. lol that's a ***** move big time.

I havent read this entire thread. But i dont think even those who accuse pac of roids are saying that it is impossible to move up alot in weight. There saying that it is unlikely that their KO percentage and dominance would increase as they move up. Henry Armstrong didnt fight at 160 ever. When fought at MW he was in 140's since there was no JR MW division at the time. In addtion, he didnt KO Pinoy Garcia he had a disputed draw.

SRL also was less dominant as he moved up. He didnt KO as many people. De la hoya between 130-140 didnt lose one fight. When fought between 147-160 he got losses and his KO ratio went down. The same goes for PBF. He had go 12 Rds with guys like Baldomir, Judah, DLH, and even JMM. His KO ratio went down. Most fighters rely on boxing skills than power when they move up.

Pac has had 4 fights at 135 or higher. He has won all of his fights by KO or TKO. In addition, he probably only lost like a total of 4 RDS in 35 RDS of boxing. He was much more dominant at the higher weights unlike DLH, SRL, PBF, or Duran. Pac lost only like 1 rd to DLH, 1 to Diaz, 0 to hatton, and possibly 2 or 3 to Cotto.

Now examine his fights before 135. He went the distance in both his prior fights at 135. He went the distance with both JMM and MAB 2. He won JMM 2by SD, and beat MAB 2 by UD. He lost about 11 RDS of boxing between those 2 fights. Also he went the distance with Oscar Larios a few fights before that and was actually in ***** street in one of the early RDS. He also had a fight with Solis where he struggled early and kept swinging for the fences until he finally stopped Solis.

Some will say that pac was weight drained and got stronger. Well his walk in weight was fully hyrated. In addition, why would he need catchweights if he is a natural WW? There is a difference between walk weight and fighting weight. Clottey and Cotto walk around the SMW and LHW weight (162-170) does that mean they are dehyrated when they fight? Does that mean if they move up to SMW and LHW they will get stronger naturally and start to KO people?

Just trying to explain the difference between what people are saying. Many accept that fighters move up but many are asking how does one become more dominant by losing less RDS and increading KO ratio?

Floyd definately has to be on steroids. He fought at 106 as a kid, and has fought as high as 154. Add the fact he has a broad jaw, a gigantic head and throws tantrums. He is obviously on the juice.
