If Margarito really did have plaster of paris on his wraps, then by the time it went to court, it should have already set and been as hard as a cast, right? or am i wrong?

Thats my question, because if that was the case then there would be no doubt in anyones mind that it was plaster, that it turned to a cast, that it was really hard, then there wouldn't be any suspension. It would have just been an instant life ban from boxing. And it should have set because the wraps were already wet according to what they say, so in time it would have set, so in that logic, by the time it went to court the wraps should have been casts by then, right? or wrong?

NO. simply because plaster needs water to harden. upon entering the ring, the gloves are fresh, dry, no sweat. BUT by round 6...there is moisture, creating the hardening effect.

Anyways, i thought that they said that the wraps were already wet? i mean thats what it stated in the documents or files taken from the events that happened that night. If not then why not just put water on the wraps and see if they get hard, i mean they did take them to the lab to get tested, why not just do the simplest test of all.

Directions on box:
1) add water.
2) let sit for a certain amount of time.
3) feel to see if harden, if so
3) cement hand wraps ready for use.
4) have fun enjoying our product, enjoy!

I mean there ain't nothing fancy to it, lab testing for substances and crap. if the nail is sticking out, there ain't no need for fancy crap, just take the damn hammer and pound it till its in. and you get results, not speculations.
