Oh please here we go with the "mysterious stain" myth, how much more "proof" can you come up with? where did it say it was an actual plaster of paris cast? all there is written are "tampered wraps" "strange substance" etc... but not one source confirms it as an actual cast of plaster of paris. It is what you want to believe to keep fueling your hatred towards this innocent man.ahahahahahahah....false accusations??? you do know they caught him getting the bricks put in his wraps right?? he got them confiscated son....they sent them to the labs a proved it was plaster of paris....
they showed the discolor of his wraps afer the cotto fight..a unexplainable color..
man go somewhere with your nonsence....you sound like a girl defending a abusive husband..."its not his fault" lmao....idiotComment

Your reserch tells you that he cheated against Cotto? Despite the fact that there is absolutely no proof to suggest that he did?
In regards to Margarito being behind on the cards
http://boxrec.com/media/index.php?title=Fight:1281966
Judge: Dave Moretti 95-95
Judge: Jerry Roth 94-96
Judge: Glen Hamada 94-96
Two out of three having Margarito ahead with one even
Margarito's biggest mistake was starting slow,he has admitted this himself. It took him a while to really set himself into the fight but when he did he picked up the vast majority of the rounds in the second half of the right, even hurting Williams.
He struggled to make weight and had gained more weight after the Cotto fight than he usually allowed himself to bloat up to.Margarito didn't keep his weight under control and for the first time in his career was slacking.
those "skills" you are talking about are not good at all that why he felt he had to cheat against cotto and kermit cintron.....Cotto was kicking his ass the entire fight but when youre getting hit with bricks, its hard to continue a fight.. Paul Williams beat him straight up, outboxed him.....ohg and lets not forget joshua clottey was killing him 2 untill he broke his hands.....get outta here margo is garbage
Cotto was kicking his ass the entire fight? I didn't think anyone would have the nerve to claim that Cotto's moving and boxing would amount to an ass kicking.Even those who had Cotto winning a number of the earlier rounds could tell that the fight was turning dramatically in Margarito's favour.
Clottey was beating him until he discovered that Margarito was a slow starter and had heart while Clottey didn't.
And yet you took the time out in your very busy schedule to have this lovely conversation with me.........god on ye lad.Comment

The Los Angeles Times got their hands on the reports about the testing and published the results this week, saying:
A Department of Justice senior criminalist who inspected the wrappings under stereomicroscope and X-ray flourescence spectrometer reported calcium and sulfur were discovered, noting the elements make plaster of Paris with the addition of oxygen. The report was dated March 19. “The commission’s decision appears to be supported by that report,” said Karen Chappelle, the state supervising deputy attorney general for licensing who urged the California commission to revoke the fighter and trainer’s licenses. “The only things that are allowed in hand wraps are gauze and tape and those items aren’t gauze and tape.”
Thats really all I've got to say on the subject, have a nice day.Comment

Most likely under the Golden Boy payroll, have a nice day as well. The Los Angeles Times got their hands on the reports about the testing and published the results this week, saying:

Just a quick question to see if anyone can answer me this. Not stirring up stuf just an honest question.
If Margarito really did have plaster of paris on his wraps, then by the time it went to court, it should have already set and been as hard as a cast, right? or am i wrong?
Thats my question, because if that was the case then there would be no doubt in anyones mind that it was plaster, that it turned to a cast, that it was really hard, then there wouldn't be any suspension. It would have just been an instant life ban from boxing. And it should have set because the wraps were already wet according to what they say, so in time it would have set, so in that logic, by the time it went to court the wraps should have been casts by then, right? or wrong?Comment

[quote=donkim;7081005]You didn't even know who Luis Resto was before they made a documentary on him.
There is absolutely no proof that Margarito ever actually had loaded gloves during a fight.
Maybe so, but check this out, donkim...
How can a fighter "NOT KNOW" how his trainer wraps fist hands, when he sitting right in front of him"??!! after more than 12 years boxing professioanlly, you know every aspect of the game, and you know only gauze and tape are permitted to wrap hands.
No fighter should have leniency when his team's intent is to hurt his opponent.
PS, I saw Margarito live at the Garden in 2007, a Warrior that come to fight, much respect as a fighter. But like I said, his team wanted to hurt Shane Mosley.Comment
