I agree with you here. I'd love to see him fighting more in US than Europe, because US is a homeland of boxing and boxin fans. But it's not only about America. they make tons of $ outside of United States, too. And to me health is more important thatn $, so heh didi right decision by quiting against Byrd. I'm sure ppl will agree with me here.

alright my bad, I should of write down it different way. I doubt hewas scared of Vitali, but.. There was a big possibility Vitali wiinig a rematch. satisfied with this answer?

I agree, i'm sure him and Stewart sat down reviewed the fight and weighed their options. The possibility that Lewis would lose a rematch was real so the risk/reward wasn't worth it for him.

This was more true circa 1999 but now i think it's completely untrue. More money can be made outside the U.S. and if the Americans don't want to pay attention to the fighters or don't want to give a guy credit then **** them, their loss.

Dzinziruk for example is a top guy and has been for a long time, if an American fight fan doesn't want to believe it or watch him, their loss.

Yeh, that's better. Y'see I am inclined to agree with you, I think Lewis might have been scarred of losing, but I can't say it's a fact. The rematch should have happened.

Also Artur, it is possible to be a fan of both David Haye and the Klitschko brothers. I like all three as fighters. It's true that Haye is my favourite of the three and part of that is because he's British, but it's also got a lot to do with the fact I've watched him since his amateur days and seen him develop. Because I live in the UK, I see UK fighters, but I'm not nationalistic. I don't like Ricky Hatton and I don't like Carl Froch.
