  • They Will Slap Sr. Mayweather W/ Slander...If Pac and Arum

goes for it. SLANDER..Sr did not speculate. He said Pacman " Was on steroid or some type of supplement or some type of enhancing drugs" this was his words and he stand by it. While Commissioner Kiser confirmed that Pacman was tested and found negative of any drugs. Kiser is a credible witness and he can back it up.
Why is it defamation? Pacman is a public figure whose name has not been tainted by drugs(PED)I think He was once the cover of TIME magazine . Sr. statement triggered controversy. The affects are people are talking about him and questioning his accomplishments. The worst,
he is a family man with kids that goes to school.

He did worked hard to get to this point of his life. Sr is just too irresponsible to say those things to the media. Paulie was smart enough not to mention the Drugs.

His only way out of this mess is to have evidence that Manny did take Drugs to win fights. Or he can use ..Well I just want to protect My son,,but that is long shot but it may work or a retraction will do.

Arum is a lawyer, so He know they have the uppper hand here. Jr. is just in the middle of this Horse **** that Sr. started. he should have consulted w/ a lawyer first before making a statement.

    • Random to the point of the day of the fight. Tahts all Manny is asking for.

Biased and dumb floyd fans, Dont try to spin this as Manny is refusing blood and all tests. He'll be tested during training, all the way till the last day.

Is Floyd paranoid enough to think Manny is going to roid up the day of the fight? And what kind advantage would this be? He's also getting tested on fight day, with urine.

This is what it all boils down to. Just ONE day, and it's the day of the fight. But to you guys...you scream bloody murder

going to be giving BUT wouldn't take the tests randomly?
Random means at any moment....that disrupts the training camp process. Plus...who cares that was a bull**** move by mayweather...

Mayweather is a perfectionist in ducking.....

            can i start???????

MOSELEY.....He has to many losses...i tried to fight him years ago. he's been ko'd. He's taken PED's.

WILLIAMS....He's to big. he's been ko'd by quintana.

            COTTO....He's promoted by BOB!!!

MARGARITO...WHO'S Margarito? but u know what i'll fight BALDOMIR? (now whoe da fack was that???)

PAC MAN....He's promoted by BOB but i'll still fight him if he takes unnecessary drug testing...

            • You Really Can't Force Anybody To Do Things That....

He or she doesn't want to. It is his right to refuse unless you get a court order and let the law take it's course. If people don't respect NSAC drug testing then they are pretty much saying that all boxers that fought in Nevada should be questioned and subjected to this kind of controversy.

                • People are jumping to conclusions.Unless the Mayweathers have wrote on the net or broadcasted that Manny IS doping, they have no case.On top of that, they have to prove they stated it in a way that was not based on opinion. It is NOT illegal to state your opinion. It seems weird that someone would rather take legal action that could bound them to focus too much attention for years, instead of just taking these olympic style tests. It is not singling out Manny if Floyd is willing to take the tests himself. In these days of questionable tactics inside the ring, anyone can use enhancers, illegal wraps, etc to improve chances of winning a fight,so everyone in the ring should be liable to show they are legitimate and without illegal edges.Something fishy is going on with Manny's camp-this is not how innocent people react,in fact, most innocent people are all too eager to prove the accuser invalid...who knows,it could just be a publicity stunt to gain even more interest in the fight...

This is a case where Arum should have gave Manny the opportunity to speak before he spoke on behalf of Manny. It seems as though Manny's message was lost in translation because other people were speaking for him. Arum has been repeatedly violating the self-imposed 'gag order' because this should have never come out until it was fully resolved.

Because Team Mayweather said that the USADA test was a deal breaker and Team Pac did not agree outright Arum should not have called off the fight. They should have called in a third party (aka arbitraitor) to make a compromise one the style of of drug testing. Arum has a Law degree but it is not showing, he chose to negtiate with a very hard-line knowing that the whole process was delicate.

I do believe that Pac should have been the consumate professional and agreed to the test just as Mayweather did. But since that did not happen an independent arbitrator needs to be brought in because emotions (pride, ego, etc.) have entered the negotiations.
arum could have certainly handled the situation better than telling floyd and schaefer to "go to hell". he made the issue bigger than it really is. im certain that floyd's camp would see that what manny wanted is fair for both of them.

if i was in charge of manny, i would say to him just take the ****** tests and sign the fight. but he has every right to question testing that has never been used before in the sport. testing to be done by a body of floyd's choice. testing he didn't even need to take in the first place.

manny agreed to the additional tests just to satisfy floyd's paranoia, tests mind you, are not required by nevada or any sanctioning bodies. but he isn't willing to bend over all the way to terms which he is uncomfortable with. he feels he has nothing to prove to anyone, and he doesn't. he feels he shouldn't be hassled by tests he shouldn't even take in the first place.

golden boy's and people from floyd's camp has come out with statements that manny refused the tests which is not the case at all. they questioned the legitimacy of manny's win, which is damaging to his name. manny and his camp has every right to be pissed. yet, arum should have acted professional.

all in all, both sides acted like jack-asses.

lets hope cooler heads prevail and i am still hopeful that the fight would be signed by next week.

                    • Sr. said " He was on........."

and who said it was illegal, here in America you have the right to say whatever you want, you have freedom of speech but there is a law against irresponsible statement. They call it slander...do you know the diff between Libel and Slander?
