Pac is an athlete, you think that athletes can sue for being asked to do a drug test, who is Mark McGwire and Barry Bonds suing? Pac has no case whatsoever, accusations of steroids is part of the game for top rated athletes.

There is no need to submit to random blood testing. The commission's testing system is the standard for testing for performance enhancing drugs. Olympic Style testing is not required, end of story. I can understand if Manny had tested positive for illegal substances in the past, but he's never been known for using anything illegal. The only thing Manny is guilty of is scaring Floyd ****less.

If its proven otherwise they can go to jail. I will give alot of credit to top rank if they do this. Because they are finally putting their money where their mouth is.
yep. pac's camp has all the avenues open to prove that he is clean.

fawk, i want pac to take usda tests just for the lawsuit itself.

Even if Pacquiao won the case the doubts about him are still in boxing fans minds, the only way Pacquiao can recover from this is to take the tests.

but what manny said is right. there is absolutely no basis for him to be subjected to additional tests. he was willing to give it a shot, even willing to go through the additional tests, tests that no sanctioning body required. he will just not bend over to all of floyd's demands.

manny has a case. his name has been hurt because of baseless accusations. he was put in a position where it seems like he doesn't want to take the tests, which is not true at all. he believes giving blood too close in the fight would affect him. floyd's camp, gbp, ellerbe, and schaefer spinned it and make it seem he was trying to weasel out of tests he wasn't even required to take in the first place.

not if he takes the usda test, with the result as part of evidence in his lawsuit against floyd and his camp

Looks like Pacquaio agreeing to tests but not on the day of the fight was BS.

Not a chance in hell! In two days, Arum has gone from "no tests within 30 days of the fight and no tests by the Olympic Anti Doping Agency" to "the fight is off" to "we'll agree to let the Nevada Commission do the blood tests if we can agree to having it done 10 days out." By Monday, Arum will agree to piss in a cup himself and have his own blood drawn and tested.

laugh, Bob Arum is going to take one look at this request and say wtf Manny, are you an idiot? We'll be the laughingstocks of the sports world. We've already got your trainer Freddy Roach on video saying no problem to Olympic style testing. And we've already announced publicly that we've had preliminary talks with Paulie Malignaggi about fighting him...and Paulie himself has publicly brought up the steroids issue. So how is that going to look? That we're willing to fight one guy (Paulie) who's said you're on steroids, but we're not willing to fight the other guy (Floyd) who simply wants you tested like all these other olympic athletes get tested. So we're going to sue one party but be okay to do business with the other? The judge is going to throw this lawsuit into the trash.
