Anyone with half a brain knows what he "agreed to" is what he backing away from. What he wants to do is not sufficient testing for HGH. That's a different story. And any true boxing does not understand why he won't do whjat many other high profile athletes have already done. A nut hugging fanatic will not see it that way. If it's squashed it will be on Pacquiao's team and that's the way most people are going to look at it.anyone with 1/2 brain knows that what pac has agreed to as far as blood tests is more than fair. if u can name me 1 athlete thats been tested 19 times in 8 weeks (which is what will happen) id like to hear it. if the fight gets squashed for this floyd can go **** himself.Comment

That's was the first pothole Team Pacquiao stepped in.
Agreeing publicly to Olympic style testing, then reneging publicly to it, does not look great at all for them. Especially when they know that the media is hungry for any controversial news story to take and run with, with the help of people who will spread the news like a virus all over the internet.
They're wondering how to take control of this wild situation that's gotten out of control all of a sudden.Comment

that's true, but he was outed by grand jury testimony & had a connection in the steroid world with balco & victor conte.
this is the BIG DIFFERENCE. There is no evidence, grand jury testimony, no brian mcnamee bloody gauze, NO NOTHING against pac. This is all based off senior's steroid slander which utterly holds no weight or credibility whatsoever yet team pac let it develop into a quagmire that they are facing right now.
I can understand if senior was the boxing version of jose canseco, but he's not. that accusation is not backed by experience & knowledge of steroid usage but by spite, bitterness, vindictiveness, & jealousy.Comment

i dont get why most people here are saying he is refusing to take the blood tests.Team Pacquiao has agreed to the blood test but only up to a certain point.Roach was even quoted saying it would be fine if they had a 5 day window prior to the fight.****...im sure theyd even let them take the blood off of his cuts during the fight just as long as its not the day of or the day before the fight.Comment

They're stuck between a rock and a hard place for sure. They really don't have much choice except to cave and take the tests. If not the USADA then the compromise will still be have to be heavily in Floyd's favour.
Frankly they did it to themselves moreso than Ellerbe, Schaefer & co. having a stroke of genius.Comment

The answer is he is not clean. Everybody wants to believe their "hero" would never cheat. However, history has proven otherwise: Antonio Margarito, Barry Bonds, Alex Rodriguez, Mark McGuire, Jose Canseco, Marion Jones just to name a few. Pac may not be taking steroids, but he is on something that has given him an unfair advantage and the truth will come out eventually -- maybe not while he is actively boxing, but it will come out.Honestly the testing is ****** but what's even ******er is refusing to take the test when you're most likely clean as a whistle. I'm willing to bet the Mayweather camp weren't anticipating this kind of response but when it happened they were laughing their asses off at how badly Arum/Top Rank/Roach/the Pac camp completely fumbled this public relations issue.Comment
