this whole steroid accusation is baseless, unfounded, & NOTHING MORE THAN A CHARACTER ASSASSINATION by Senior that team Pacquiao legitimized by agreeing to the USADA testing during negotiations.

    Arum & todd deuboff messed up in negotiating. This is what they should have done when the mayweather camp first alluded they wanted to do independent drug testing;

Say Are you Freaking kidding me Brah? That should have been a sticking point, a deal breaker. They should point out the fact that no one in the history of professional boxing has had to go through a olympic style testing. Why should we?

You dont get to change the rules. You play by the rules. Professional boxing testing caught chavez junior, fernando vargas, james toney, & roy jones.

Arum who is in his 80s got checked mate by leonard ellerbe. You dont want to be in that position figuratively or physically. They let the situation get to this point & pacquiao is taking the publicity hit.

todd dubeoff needs to take over before arum's senility ruins top rank.

Manny could always take the test and tell floyd to **** off anyway. If he did that then he would be the winner.

robert arumstein needs to go ahead & let his son in law (lucky bastard. have you seen arum's daughter? ****IN FINE. So not only does he get married to a hot piece of ass, he gets to eventually take control of arguably the biggest boxing promotional company in the sport, without a doubt the best talent roster) todd debuoff take control of the company. I guarantee you if he was the one negotiating he would never had gone for that USADA testing.

Manny would be breaching his contract and would have to fight that in court
and possibly face big penalties. Is it worth the risk?

Roach is retracting what he said before. He said before that they would not allowPac to be tested within 30 days of the fight. I guess all the negative publicity is causing him to "massage" his story. The problem with that 30-day window is that Pac could use illegal substances and it would be out of his system by the time of the fight. The same can be said for the 5-day window.

Pac may not be taking steroids, but he is on something that has given him an unfair advantage and the truth will come out eventually -- maybe not while he is actively boxing, but it will come out.
wrong answer. how the hell do you know he's not clean when he has headlined in 10 fights in vegas & has past the test everytime.

You cant accuse someone of murder when no one is missing because no one is murdered.

There is no evidence against pac other than a shameless empty accusation by senior who was made to look like a fool by training a orthodox fighter in a orthodox stance during padwork when he was facing a southpaw.

Are you a steroid expert? Does bloodwork after the fight not matter? What is the proper "window" for sufficient testing?

do you really believe the 5 day window would create that much of an advantage for manny IF he did use PED at that time?so for 7 weeks of training camp hes not going to use PED, but in the last week then he's going to use it b/c of that little window.i don't know what goes on in their camp in the last week but in the 24/7 episodes they do try to retract pac from overtraining.Mayweather team wants random testing.Team Pac wanted none.i think this would be a good compromise to get the fight done.Mayweather gets his testing and Manny can still feel 100% mentally for the fight.Plus they are willing to test right after the fight also.PEDS whether HGH or roids are not eliminated from your system in a matter of one week.

Egos aside, the fight just seems too big to just go away.

IMO of common human nature, mostly greed lol, it just feels that this is a PR move. Team Pac has issued conflicting points (30 days, 1 week, 5 days, 3 days etc) but we have to see Pac himself, maybe saving him to offer the "acceptable" compromise to the demand of Team Floyd? I mean this issue does seem pretty easy to compromise as opposed to issues like purse (which is the meat of the story all the time)

The fight is now mentioned more in mainstream media isnt it? So at least as a PR move it already worked.

                    judah vs mosley:

Whatever tests they want them to take, Shane will submit to that. We are not going to do other tests than the Nevada commission requires," Schaefer said. "The fact is Shane is not a cheater and he does not need to be treated like one."

                    pac vs pbf

According to Golden Boy CEO Richard Schaefer, who is negotiating the deal with Top Rank president Todd duBoef, Pacquiao refuses to have his blood drawn within 30 days of the bout based on his superstition of testing so close to a fight.

"Todd told me that Pacquiao has difficulty with taking blood and doesn't want to do it so close to the fight," Schaefer said. "He, Pacquiao, would only agree to have blood drawn before the kick-off press conference and after the fight."

I don't think its really conflicting points. Its more of team pac willing to compromise b/c mayweather won't budge on the issue. Both teams obviously want the fight to be made and so does the world and anyone who says Floys is ducking Manny or Manny is ducking Floyd is just ignorant.Floyd wants money...nothing wrong w/that and this is a huge payday for him.Pacman fights to entertrain AND for money also.they both win
