I know over the last 7 days you have all grown to love Martinez's nuts and all, but Vanes is no slouch.

This would be a great fight at 154lb for the WBC Title. I have been very impressed with Martirosyan. He is very talented, skilled and can punch, aswell as being a great amateur (Represented the United States at the 2004 Olympics)

Do Vanes's opposistion has been questioned. Although it's nothing great there is a few pretty decent fighters and fringe contenders on his resume. And he has beat them all very clearly, which is also impressive.

-Angel Hernandez (Former World Title Challager, Holds wins over James McGirt Jr and Antwun Echols.

-Michael Medina (Was 18-0 heading into fights with Vanes, and has since won four straight)

-Billy Lyell (After Vanes defeated him, the fight after Lyell would defeat the unbeaten John Duddy)

-Andrey Tsurkan (Although past his prime when he fought Vanes. Going into the fight Tsurkan held wins over Hector Camacho Jr, Jesse Feliciano, and had taken current WBA 154lb Champion Yuri Foreman to a SD.

-Willie Lee (Lee was coming off 3 straight wins, which included a win over former ranked contender Alex Bunema)

But it's a big task for him to defeat arguably the number #1 Jr Middleweight in the world in Martinez when he has had just 26 fights and is just 23 years of age.

Martinez proved in his last fight that he is the real deal. Losing a disputed decision to the so called most feared man in boxing. That was one of Martinez's best ever performance's.

He hurt Williams numerous times aswell as putting him to the canvas in the 1st. He also showed a great chin and heart.

Martinez beats him but it would be a decent test for Sergio. Then the long legged hype job needs to step up and give Martinez the rematch he deserves.

Haven't seen Vanes yet, does he have a chance of beating Sergio?

Pretty good prospect that was running his mouth about Martinez. He does have a chance, but Martinez's experience and ring savvy would do Vanes in.

Vanes can crack so he has a punchers chance.

On the Chavez Jr thing.. It's sad but very deserving that he's not taken seriously by any real fighters in his weightclass.

For the record, MARTINEZ is the one who starting shooting his mouth off, calling Vanes a ***** and a few other disrespectful things. Vanes simply responded in kind.
As Vanes said, "he was mean to me, I had to be a man and stand up for myself." So dont make it out like Vanes started the beef, cause he didnt.
