Neither. Haye is the Brit of the year. Unified the CW division and went on to win the HW championship against an opponent 100 pounds heavier.

Froch doesn't make my list, he lost the Dirrell fight and Taylor has been KOed by everyone since Pavlik cracked his egg.

Froch?! He LOST the Dirrell fight and Taylor was shot to pieces since Pavlik! Can you justify why is that better than what Haye did? That was history man.

Personally i go with Amir Khan (never thought i'd say that). He has completely turned around his whole career in 2009. Respect for that.

Haye fought once this year....OK. he became a world champion in the heavyweight division but he wasn't active enough.

Froch fought two americans, beat both, retained his title and sittin nicely at the top of the super six.

Khan became world champion, beat a past it Barrera and Ko'ed Salita.

I'd give british fighter of the year to ones in exciting fights, defendin a world title, twice. fighter who had two hard fights.....I'd go Froch, Khan then Haye.

If Haye can clean up the heavyweight division next year then no doubt he will win fighter of the year in 2010.

Haye unified the CW division in 2008, not 2009.

                  AMIR KHAN !!

David Haye had only 1 fight this year so you can't really consider him. Carl Froch was losing against Taylor untill Taylor gassed out and Froch lost against Dirrell.

                    Got to be Froch.

                    Pascal
                    Taylor
                    Dirrell

Whether you agree with the Dirrell decision or not. Froch did the most this year against better competition.

Got to go with Khan. The way he's rebounded from the Prescott nightmare has been fantastic
