honestly this is so great news. Tua was in his top shape when he foguht Cameron. I'm sure he is all serious abotu fighting. I'd love to see him fight 3-4 times next year and KO ppl. also any kind of fight Tua vs top10 hw is going to be great.

Why so many fights before going after a title? This is a waste of time he should be going for a title fight after this bs fight in March. If does need 4 fights before a title shot I hope he at least fights Arreola after this fight with Ahunaya.

Oh **** yeah, Tuas my man. I thing he would crush David Haye cause Haye isnt strong enough to last with Tua and not good enough to keep him out. The Klitschkos are a different story, Vitali maybe but Wlad is too good. Tua will waste Friday The 13th in March. Watch out Heavyweights, here comes the Tuaman!

nice to hear tua is in shape & going to be active.5 times could be pushing it bit if he gets 3 or 4 in vs decent opposition that will get him prepared.Friday is no pushover but tua should take care of him.cameron & ahunanya are 2 nice stepping stones to get back in the picture.tua in shape is a very dangerous opponent for anyone in todays heavyweight division.he would be vitalis toughest opponent since lennox lewis.tua has never been on the canvas & has big time power & has the ability to get inside.he's been behind in so many fights & got inside with a big hook to turn it around so I'll keep an eye on him.

Tua would KO Haye quickly, but against either Klitschko, he'll be eating jabs exactly as he did against Lennox. But I welcome Tua back, he's exciting, although fighting 5 times in 2010: I'll believe that when I see it.

Vitali is still damn good. He fought a guy in Johnson who had no plans of trying to win, and who laid on the ropes and ducked and dodged all night. Hard to look great against a guy like that, although Vitali did break the Compubox record for jabs thrown by a heavyweight in that fight. Had Johnson ever tried to win the fight, he would have been knocked out.

Good to hear that Tua is keeping active, something which he hasn't done over the last few years.

Even do he is past his best, if Tua comes in well trained and focused he can still be a force in the division and as he proved in his last fight by destroying Shane Cameron in 2. Although Cameron is nothing more than medicore is was still impressive how easy Tua delt with him. A fight with fellow heavyweight slugger Chris Arreola is mouthwatering.

Over the years Tua has given myself aswell as the boxing world some great moments and memories whether it be his brutal highlight reel KO's or his exciting non stop wars with the likes of Ike Ibeabuchi.

It's a shame he still has yet up to pick up a world title. Because at his best Tua was more than worthy, especailly when you look back at some fighters who have one of the four title etc Herbie Hide, Oleg Maskaev, Bruce Seldon, to name a few.

No disrepect to these fellow fighters, but I have little dout that Tua would of delt with them without much trouble. All in all Tua knocked out 4 former world title holders.

Tua's left hook is one of the hardest punchers the divsion has ever seen. He threw all his weight into it and if it caught you flush the odds were you were going to sleep.

He also is credited with having one of the best chins in Heavyweight History. Having never been stopped or knocked out in 54 pro bouts, and has absorbed some heavy punishment and shots over the years.

But Tua was limted. He was slow of hand and foot, sometimes negleted conditioning and could be outboxed as proved when Lennox Lewis and Chris Byrd gave him boxing lessons back in 00/01.

But there is no shame in getting beat by Chris Byrd and Hall Of Famer Lennox Lewis.

                  Some Interesting Tua Facts

-Inspiration-My father. I realise now how wise a man he is. He made me the man I am today.

-Best fight you’ve seen:That would have to be Joe Louis’ fights. I could sit all day and watch his fights. He was so precise with his punches.

-Toughest part of being a boxer: Definitely the mental side of it. Mental preparation, mental toughness.

-Favourite music: Gospel. I like peaceful music, too

-Toughest man faced: Other than my mother! I’d have to say all my opponents. In particular Ike Ibeabuchi was a good fight, and David Izon, Oleg Maskaev, Hasim Rahman. They were good character-building fights.

-What would you do if you weren’t a boxer: I’d work with troubled kids as a counsellor. I do a lot of that now anyway. I like helping to straighten out troubled kids while they’re at a young age
