why dont you ask your fav fighter why they make up catchweights instead of going up weights and fighting the bigger champions like all the other greats did. of course with the money being thrown around now fighters take the chance at the catchweight. but its manny and his team offering the catchweight instead of just fighting these guys at the right weight. but you blind bootleg biased fans dont see that and cheer manny as he beats guys handicaped

I agree with the later as I don't favor Manny or Floyd over Sergio. Honestly Margarito is being chosen to help Manny in his next negotiations with Floyd. Margarito gives Manny the best chance to do over a million (not saying it does) so when Manny and Floyd try for next spring (IMO I feel it's a waste as I don't see the fight ever happening) Manny could push for a 50-50 or possible a 55-45 split.

Not only that but this is a in house fight in which Arum can keep all the money at Top Rank as well as is easy to negotiate. This really has nothing to do with who Arum thinks Manny can or cannot beat....although I admit that I'm sure they feel Martinez is high risk low reward at this point.

margirito last fight was at 154 hes fought at 154 before when he lost to santos. he is also fighting manny for a 154 pound title. hes not a 147 fighter he just is more reconized and accomplished more there. he is a big welterweight super welterweight. and noone is gonna put on no muscle dumb ass. 151 jsut means thats less weight they have to cut by fight time. you make it seem like manny and toni walks around at 147 and have to put on 3 pounds by fight time lol

You only seeing Toni disadvantages by fighting Pac at 150 in which most of the fans thought it was in Tonis favor. How about Pac 5'6" in height and all his fight at 147 he only weighed in below 144?

Going by your analysis Margarito should have beaten Mosley. Also using your "superior" logic Mayweather should completely wipe Pac out given what he did to JMM.

Styles make fights.....Martinez is a counterpuncher. The way to beat a counterpuncher is to be a better counterpuncher or throw volume.

Margarito.....provided he has something left will put up a better fight than Clottey and Cotto. If he can find a way to deal with the speed he can beat Pac.

Prediction: Pac UD. Margarito starts too slow and Pac should win 7rds or 8 rds to 4. Wouldn't surprise me if Margarito wins either. Just have to wait and see what he has left.

dont confused your half a brain to mine....i belive that boxing is mostly mental which is why i think pac beats floyide...martinez aint a better counter pucher than jmm and the only thing he has over pac is size, thats it.....if a pressure fighter like margo could stop a young martinez, what else could a better overall pressure fighter in pac could do to sergio.....

FACT Manny fought at welter in 144 lbs. and tony is a regular WW fighter.
