Wheres every time Floyd has been noticeably rocked, he would immediately go into the next gear. Young Mayweather did it perfectly like they teach you to do when hurt after Mosley rocked him.

It takes a zen state of mind to handle it as professionally as Floyd did when Mosley rocked him. You keep bringing up the 112 thing like a broken record which is any knowledgeable person knows its irrelevant of these days. It is fact that Pac was severely dehydrated in those lower divisions. If Pac to be koed now here, it is not because he been koed at 112 theories. It is because he went too far from his comfortable weight which is most probably at 140-147 and the fact Margo is too big for him at 150 or Martinez at 154. Let say Margo and Martinez was about this same height and body build of Pac, do you think they have a chance to beat Pac? If your 112 thing is so accurate as what you want us to believe. How come those fighters Pac fought at 126 (after Barrera fight) and above who are many times better than Margarito or Martinez did not even manage to knock him down not even once?

IMO Martinez would win...but lets think about this...

Although Martinez has shown vulnerability, at 154, the larger, sturdier, mobile Martinez will have a good chance to beat Pac. He won't stand in front of Pac, he constantly shifts movement side to side, Martinez can effectively time, and knows how to move in and out. Pac does get confused with sound techical counter-punchers that throw 3+ punch combinations.

Pacquiao
Quick Movement and volume...Pac has proved time and time again that his movement and volume has outlasted most opponents in the ring. Pac would rely on feints to draw in Martinez and then attack with a flurry of punches forcing Martinez to slip away. Martinez likes to keep his hands down low when he slips so Pac would continue the pressure taking advantages of those moments. Martinez (at times) likes to stay in the pocket and fight before slipping out, Pac again would have to take advantage of Martinez low guard. Pac definitely has more ring longevity possibly outlasting Martinez.

Conclusion
Pac, historically, always had some trouble with counter punchers/boxers. For instance, JMM is "the guy" who arguably beat Pac. More recently, before getting rocked in the 4th round Cotto was boxing very well before he got careless. Clottey, a larger defensive boxer, peppered him with only a few shots creating visible damage. Martinez has fought larger opponents in Williams, Citron, Pavlik and so on...his fights were simply impressive despite the outcome, Martinez would have to go into this fight thinking speed, movement, and jabs ALL DAY. It's his bread and butter, although Pac has faced (cough cough) larger opponents too...he hasn't fought a larger boxer like Martinez. Kind of like a JMM 2.0............kind of.

If Manny can stay in jr middleweight the fight could happen. fighting Margarito in 151 lbs is like a test for him and see if he can go as far as 154 lbs. too big argument is irrelevant. he has bee fighting bigger guys and destroy them too.
