who are you to say he aint ****. hes the middleweight champion former junior middleweight champion and what are you former tacobell drive through champion. ok hes overrated to you is that fact no its opinion learn the difference.

manny has never fought a guy like martinez who will move and punch like martinez and with speed and power. someone who wont stand there and guard a barrage of punches.

its not one fight ago. margirito was suspended for a year then had a fight at 154 and having another fight at 151 for a 154 title. he fought mosley jan of 09 at 147 where he looked weak and like ****. is it an excuse no. but theres a reason why he came back to boxing at 154 and not 147

        Tony will be fine
people bitching too much about that
Sergio is a tougher challenge for sure
but if Pac is ok at JMW then it's a fight of talent, not just size
Pac is good enough to beat Martinez
just a question of whether or not he can carry 150 with no problems

actually, not that it means much, but I notice a lot of people saying this. FWIW Martinez was actually the favorite in that fight and a lot of people were picking him to beat Margarito.

Not only that but another misconception was that Martinez was the gap in experience between the two (in favor of Margarito. Truth be told, Martinez had been boxing for 5 years (2 pro) while Margarito had been boxing for 7 years (6 years pro). Margarito was 20-3 and Martinez was 16-0. Margarito had a brief 21 fight amatuer career (which isn't ****)....and turned pro quickly because he was in need of money.

Another dumb post without thinking from you. Margarito is a 147 fighter who will face Pac at 150. So Margarito who already has the reach and size advantrages at 147 over Pac and by adding another more 3 lbs of pure muscles will be uncomfortable to him?

dont matter.....floyd has retired for 2 years and has fought at 154, he still did good at 147 after that......excuses , excuses!

margirito last fight was at 154 hes fought at 154 before when he lost to santos. he is also fighting manny for a 154 pound title. hes not a 147 fighter he just is more reconized and accomplished more there. he is a big welterweight super welterweight. and noone is gonna put on no muscle dumb ass. 151 jsut means thats less weight they have to cut by fight time. you make it seem like manny and toni walks around at 147 and have to put on 3 pounds by fight time lol

Honestly if they were the same size, Manny would more than likely beat the **** outta him, but seeing that Martinez is 4 inches taller, has a 9 inch reach advantage, and is about 16-20lbs bigger than Manny....then I really can't see Manny beating him at 154. There are weight classes for a reason and Manny would more than likely be over his head facing Martinez at 154.

Let's see how he looks at 154 against a similar size opponent in Margarito that has comparable power.
