Abraham has one hell of a chin, one of the best IMO.

If pavlik shows him no respect and stands in front of him, It will be lights out.

If you don't have to get hit, why would you? I never buy that nonsense about guys willing to take punches to land them. Nobody wants to get hit, bottom line. Not Morales, not Barrera, not Corrales, not Gatti. None of them preferred to get hit in the face. That's a total myth. They get DRAGGED into brawls. That guy made Pavlik fight him that way.

well, it's pointless discussing it now because Pavlik ducked him. Maybe not Pavlik himself, but Arum or somebody didn't want that fight. They had every opportunity and looked the other way.

Pavlik has bigger fish to fry, like Gary Lockett, Rubio and Espino. Seriously, is this guy not the worst middleweight champion in history based on who he defended his title against? It's just pathetic. Sturm has better defenses of his bull**** belt!

Kelly will work the body early, and finish it late....

Quintana and Martinez were both hurting Paul.... Kelly will KO him LATE...

Thats my prediction, and I am sticking to it....
bollocks. hes ****e. mayweather would probably beat him even if mayweather weighed in at 147 and pavlik weighed in at 160.

Put him in there with a brute with 1 punch KO power, respectable boxing skills and solid defense and he gets KOed. Put him in there with a brawler or a semi alright boxer that isn't too durable, and he will knock him out.
Pavlik is a good body puncher as well. Kessler doesn't really work the body.

Besides that your comparison is pretty good.

After what I saw Sergio do to Williams I am pretty convinced Pavlik puts Williams to sleep.

Exactly. Al asked him after the fight why he fought that way, and Pavlik said it was not his plan, but the guy was woking his way inside. Translation, he forced pavlik to brawl.

yes, because Sergio and Paul fight exactly the same way. In fact, I had to rewatch the fight last night to make sure that wasn't Sergio going toe-to-toe with Miguel Espino.

I believe that Pavlik is better than Kessler. I used to get a lot of laughs for saying that, but I always meant it. Kessler never impressed me, Pavlik has.

I'm with you, man. In fact, I'd go so far as to say I've ****ted on Kessler compared to other people around here. For a guy whose best win is probably Librado Andrade, he gets way too much praise. I think Kessler is good, but he's never been one of the top 20 fighters in the world. I think he and Pavlik are pretty much neck and neck but that Pavlik would do better against bigger names than Kessler would.
