Dawson will not only give Pascal a boxing lesson but will physically dwarf Pascal in the ring.....I suspect he will be about 10lbs heavier than Pascal in the actual fight

I really doubt that, Pascal got much bigger since he moved up to LH, he has much more muscle mass then Dawson, though Dawson is taller Pascal is the large of the 2.

People are probably thinking it's going to be an easy win for Dawson but it won't be easy and that's for sure. Pascal has as much heart and chin as Johnson and has the young fresh legs to be able to catch Dawson, plus Pascal has pretty quick hands and has improved and smartened up since his lost to Froch. Dawson just has the boxing skill and height advantage.

yeah good point humanNature, i think pascal has been a LHW for a while now and was having to really grind himself down to make 168. imo he looked lethargic in his last few fights at 168 especially against froch (i dont think the jetlag helped).

whereas in his fights at LHW hes looked much stronger, sharper and fresher. against diaconu he looked so much more energetic than against froch.

imo dawson might actually be the smaller man, i mean only 12months ago he still felt as though he could make 168 easily. i think dawson does receive alot of unneccessary flak, the no.2 guy (hopkins) has clearly ducked him and tarver and johnson triggered the rematch clauses in the contract meaning dawson had to engage with them.

imo cloud is still a little green, id like to see him take on diaconu so we can see just how good he is.

one slight reservation i have is that dawson is challenging him just after pascal is having to have surgery.

Pascal just beat the guy that Dawson ducked??? Ummm do you follow boxing??? Dawson and Diaconu were SUPPOSED to fight but DIACONU pulled out of the fight you dope. He only vacated AFTER Diaconu pulled out the first time and he wanted to fight Tarver who is way better then Diaconu you douchebag.

Yup. People have been hard on Dawson, and all he's doing is the best he can with the best fighters he can. So far he's undefeated and I will favor him against Pascal too.

Dawson is the truth. He's not afraid to fight anyone.

Pascal was to big to make 168 and Dawson said recently that he could still make 168, Pascal is a true LHW, As long as Pascal can throw the right ok it will be a great fight, Pascal will be one of the best fighters Dawson has faced.
