I don't get why people try to at Dawson because of his resume... Tarver is one of the biggest names in the division and has been in the Ring top 10 at 175 for 11 years straight. Johnson is one of the biggest names and has been in the Ring top 10 for 7 years. They're threats despite being 40, they're still in the top 5 and have nothing to do with GBP.

The only thing you can legitimately get on Dawson about is his somewhat boring, non-aggressive style, but even then it'd be ******. Tarver and Johnson have iron chins, of the 2, only Johnson's been stopped and it was after a brutal beatdown where prime Hopkins had to hit him with at least 30 punches per round.

Pascal might get stopped if Dawson presses the gas. Chad will hurt him.

I really doubt that, Pascal got much bigger since he moved up to LH, he has much more muscle mass then Dawson, though Dawson is taller Pascal is the large of the 2.

People are probably thinking it's going to be an easy win for Dawson but it won't be easy and that's for sure. Pascal has as much heart and chin as Johnson and has the young fresh legs to be able to catch Dawson, plus Pascal has pretty quick hands and has improved and smartened up since his lost to Froch. Dawson just has the boxing skill and height advantage.

You will see what I mean when they step in the ring Pascal will be like 183 and Dawson will come in over 190.........also keeping his hands down against a fast opponent won't help him too much. He has talent but too many technical flaws he has to work out before this fight.

I'm hyped for this one. My boy Chad should win. Pascal has been looking good since the move to 175. Hopefully Cloud vs The winner of Mack and Johnson fights this winner next fall. This would crown a new Ring Champ and Lineal Champ.

I'm not excited about this fight. You know why? Because we don't know how much that shoulder injury from Pascal is going to be healed up. It's not guaranteed that he'll be ready for June and he might have to postpone the fight like Pavlik did with Williams and it leaves room for people to discredit Dawson's potential win over him. So why doesn't Dawson take another fight against somebody else? I know his options are kind of limited, but Cloud has been knocking hard on his door, and Bute would be a good fight. Say what you want about Cloud's inactivity, but people need to quit using double standards and giving Dawson a pass for fighting so infrequently.
