im a fan of miguel cotto but he is not ATG. What I did not like about Cotto is that he won a belt at 140 and he did not fight kostya tszyu. He should of won 2 belts there or so.
Then at 147 he could of won 2 belts with the Clottey fight but did not happened.

I dont see anything great about winning one title in a weight class.
2 titles would look better in any resume.

He sure as hell isn't even HOF worthy yet. If Hamed isn't in, Cotto sure as hell isn't.

Cotto might not be an ATG but he has the balls to step up to any challenge, and no matter what welterweight you put him in there with he's never a heavy underdog, most of the time a favorite. You're gonna get an entertaining fight everytime Cotto steps up.

In 20 years from now, if Cotto retired today, his legacy would be very, very shallow, and he would be remembered more for the beat-downs he took than the ones he gave. Sad fact but true.
Cotto aint done yet ..... a win over foreman seals his hof status

What? Hamed? Cotto is borderline. But, I can see Cotto in there and not Hamed. I mean I consider Cotto>Hamed.

                  Not even CLOSE to true.

First of all you have his opponent, FLOYD MAYWEATHER, who is clearly an all time great talent.

And then you got guys like BERNARD HOPKINS fighting, SHANE MOSLEY fighting (who was even greater when he was a lightweight), You got legendary small guys like IVAN CALDERON fighting, and you have JUAN MANUEL MARQUEZ fighting who is easily one of the greatest Mexican fighters of all times.

Hamed unified his division and was undisputed champ, was Cotto?
