People who hate on Paul Williams are not true boxing fans.

Williams goes after guys like Berto, Cintron, Mosley, Mayweather and Cotto..they all ran.

Burner I think to be honest Cotto haas fought a ton of tough fights. Gomez and Jenning were both busy fights inbetween big fights. He fought Jennings in between Margarito and Clottey and Gomez he fought before he fought Margarito and after he fought Mosely. You cannot fight every tough fighter to pick on Cotto for not fighting Williams whom he still may very well face in the future is crazy. Especially when you have fighters in the game now and in teh past who fought no one relevant at their weight and held titles and just kept fighting the easy fights. You also have to think of the politics in boxing and what the promoter stands to lose if he puts his horse against another promoters horse and losses with out no saftey net. Williams is with Goosen and Arum wouldn't chance future earning for himself by matching Cotto up against a non TOP RANK fighter in that ype of low budget fight when he could put him in there with Tony, Pacquiao or Clottey.....Lefty

Berto is so nice you named him twice huh? I like Paul Williams I just think he should stick with one division and clean it out. Make other fighters have to come to him. The MW division is a very prestigeous division one of the original eight. He would do it well to take the crown and become udisputed middle weight champion. After seeing him fight Martinez his style has been exposed some what and he can be defeated but it would take a special set of attributes to do so. i think a hard puncher at 160 would give him problems because he leaves himself out of position and open to counters. he is off balance and throws punches from way to far outside. he does not use his height and bends over towards his opponents putting himself more in range for attacks. his chin is good at 147 and 154 but after being dropped by martinez and seriously hurt in that first round I doubt his chin is that good at 160 or above. As for fighting above 160 I think it would be very hard for him to take on guys like Abraham, Froch and Kessler. Hec I think the JT that fought Froch puts him away....Lefty

Paul and slick southpaws dont mix...........Not to mention he only trained 17 days for Sergio because him and Pavlik was suppose to be fighting..Im sure Paul would look beter wih a full training camp.

I dont think Taylor has much left in the tank and would get pummled to death by Paul...

The only 68 Pounders that give Paul problems are Butte and Ward..He would wax everyone else..especially kessler, Froch and AA.

AA doesnt even throw punches unless the other guy has stopped....

Kessler is stiff as hell..and a one trick pony.........

Froch is to damn slow.........

JT might have nothing left but the JT that fought Froch and beat him fro 12 rounds would not get KTFO by Williams I think WIlliams power stops at 154 he has decent pop at 160 against lesser fighters JT has shown decent pop at 168 dropping Froch the only guy to ever drop him....YOu are a good dude Burner but too biased when it comes to Paul he is a great warrior but he best stay at 160 or below. As for Cotto running from him honestly I am no Cotto stan but to say that man runs from anybody is crazy he fought 5 of the TOP WW's at the time he fought them they were close to or near the top spot....Judah, Mosley, Margarito, Clottey and Pacquiao....Too pick out the Jennings and Gomez fights shows ignorance or maybe you are just trying to grasp for somethign that is not there. No pac is not fighting higher than 147 unless he fights Foreman at 154 but I think Cotto will beat him to that. After Pacfights Floyd at 147 don't be surprised if he takes one more fight and then retires....lefty

Pac said before that he will have 1 or 2 fights next year then quits. But I think Pac might change his mind if he looses to the coming election. It's all depends on the outcome of the election.
