Anyone got a video of the fight?? Its annoying that a very good fighter like Haz doesnt get any airplay in most of the top boxing countries apart from east asia.

There is too much being made of this anyways. Hasegawa just got hit. It happens. He weathered easily.Hasegawa was clearly on the verge of touching the canvas, but it was not because he was hurt. It was Perez who accidentally stepped ontoHasegawa's foot. That off-balance action on Hasegawa's part was nothing more or nothing less.
After the fight, Hasegawa said there are pleny of options and courses to take. He mentioned several of the names at 122 and 126, especially Chris John of Indonesia. Ex-featherweight champion Takahiro Aoh has moved up in weight and there is a nice spot to fill at featherweight for Hasegawa. Unification or big time fights at junior feather are understandable and welcome by Nishioka. Hasegawa's next step up and forward is invasion to featherweight I am assuming.Comment
