All the things you stated are true, so where's the myth?

Make another thread about where the legend is.

I bet you if you sit down with Marquez to have a serious, honest, 1 on 1 about him allegedly pricing himself out of these fights, he would sincerely disagree with you or whoever says these things about him.

I'm not big on Marquez but I don't see how a guy that needed money and has shown he'll do anything to fight the best(Fighting John in Indonesia, fighting Mayweather at 147) would dismiss these fights over simple purse splits when he had nothing and was hungry atm.

Just saying, it's not fair to make these kinds of threads and have people believing it(since you are indeed a credible poster i'm sure people will believe you). I don't believe it one bit, Marquez looks like an honest guy and he if he would say none of this is true and said what really went down then I would much rather believe him than Hamed etc. For all we know he could have been getting severely played since he was a no-name, like writers fabricating stories about him in order to make the more famous boxer Hamed, Barrera, Morales look good.

air enough kevin, but why did he refuse to fight pac for 750k and went to Indonesia for 33k?

I'm sure you now the answer to this. His team gambled and took the risk and they lost with their bluff. I remember so many people blaming nacho for this beause he was acting as manager of juan manuel during this time. Nacho was also responsible or turning down that 1.5 million offer from team morales. Personally I think those were managerial decisions that marquez did not go against. That how much he adores his trainer.

                      it wasn't marquez per se.

                      it was ignacio.

                      but same thing.

i'm not making any of this stuff up , kj.
