it's actually a step up in competition for khan. so i'd be down to see it. hbo boxing after dark. while i wasnt too impressed by paulie's win over diaz, he's still a slick boxer and a legit 140 pounder. i think he had it right during his tirade after the first diaz fight, he's not really a champion, but he's a legit opponent. khan is only 23. no need to feed him to the wolves like bradley and alexander just yet. i say throw khan in there with urango, paulie, maidana, ortiz, peterson. there are plenty of serious competition at 140 right now. but he's not at champion level yet.

Khan imo would win this...Diaz who is not a big puncher and who has ugly
footwork, landed alot of punches on paulie.Comment

Its a good fight, there will be a lot of rapid fire combinations from both guys, and technically its a good learning fight for khan, paulie is slick has got a great left hand, fast, and durable. Definitely the best guy khan would have faced at this point in his career.Comment

why would we celebrate fighters taking the easy route. Khan should be a) facing mandatories or b) looking for unification fights. If pacman is fighting at 147 that means the 140 title is up for grabs. bradley is in pole, so Khan should be pushing to fight him, or face Maidana. He won't do either any time soon but I'm not gonig to be thanking him for fighting Paulie, who wouldn't be much of a threat IMOComment

Junior welterweight contender Paulie Malignaggi, and his promoter Lou DiBella, are shooting for a shot at WBA junior welterweight champion Amir Khan. Their preferance, as far as the venue and location, would be Madison Square Garden in New York City [Click Here To Read More]Comment

I would love to see that fight!
that fight would probably be "too big" to be on the undercard of Pacman/Mayweather
but if it by some fluke made it... best ppv card of the decadeComment

Fighting Prescott would represent a backward step at this time and your theory about beating the guy that beat you is crap at best. Pac didnt rematch Torrecampo,Ortiz isnt about to rematch Maidana,Hopkins never rematched the guy that beat him in his first fight, and the list goes on and on.Comment
