I think this ducking **** has gotten far too over-the-top in the last few years, soon as one fighter has a little bit of hype, and the top dogs don't fight him immediately, then he is ducking them, Floyd beat Hatton when he was p4p top3 and had a ridiculous record(something like undefeaed in 44fights and wins against guys like Collazo, Kostya tszyu, jose luis castillo etc), Floyd fougth Baldomir when he was ranked no.1 by ring magazine not because he thought he was easiest or whatever, floyd then fought the no,2 ranked WW which was Zab Judah, I don't think many fighters 'duck' other fighters because if you are patient enough the fight will happen, didn't people say a little while back amyweather was ducking manny pacquiao? before that he was ducking hatton

It's a constant fiddle with Mayweather trying to get an unfair advantage before they step in the ring, he can never play it straight down the line.
lol, so why did Hatton beat the man at 140 and was the champ at 140 but he wasnt ready for Floyd at 140? That makes zero sense. Have you always felt this way about the May-Hatton situation? I mean his trainer had no prob with the fight being at 47, but I see you and Hugh want to discredit the man wim against Hatton.

so we should add the weight to the list of reasons mayweather beat hatton? the other reasons ofcourse being the ringpost and joe cortez.

He says De La Hoya and Morales both got fights after losses, except De La Hoya fought between his loss to Trinidad and his fight with Mosley, and Morales had beat Pacquiao already so it didn't matter. All Mayweather does is ***** ***** ***** and talk about his money.

I wanted to know who could beat hatton at 140? When the fight was made at 147 i was thinking but i want to know who can beat Hatton at 140?
So when PBF beat Hatton at 147 i was thinking that is all and good and all.

But i am still waiting to see who will beat Hatton at 140, so it was a bit of an anti climax PBFs win. If PBF had of beat hatton at 140 that would have been a great fight IMO.

It was never supposed to be at 140.

Somebody forgot to tell you that, Hatton was the challenger.

So Floyd was supposed to drop 14 pounds for Ricky Hatton? Laught my ass off.

I was unaware that 140 was 14 pounds below 147 pounds. Thanks for the math lesson buddy.

                  LOL

You crying at the fight being at 140, but the MAN at 140, Mr. Ricky Hatton "wasn't ready for Mayweather yet"....but he was the champ at 140 though...makes no sense..so it would do you a service to quit complaining about it.

Its a shame PBF didnt want to beat the best fighter at 140. PBF had already did something OK at 147 but never achieved anything at 140 for some reason, and had no intentions of doing so.

But who can blame PBF. He wanted the best chance to keep his zero...... unbeaten record and on that basis he was succesful. He is still unbeaten but at what cost to his legacy? But he dont care for his legacy and thats a shame it seems.

PBF fighting hatton at 147 was just to make sure he kept his unbeaten record. That is the only reason he fought at that weight because it gave him the best chance. Otherwise he would have fought at 140. He badly wanted to beat a great 140 guy and have a great 140 guy on his resume other than Gatti - the guy who lost to the alfonso guy on the contender tv show. But it was too risky for PBF and didnt want to take the challenge for true greatness.
                    He played it safe instead!
