No, Kelly had an elbow injury about ten days before the Hopkins fight. There were even rumors and reports the fight would have to be cancelled.

But because Pavlik was such a warrior, he wouldn't cancel or the delay the fight at that time. Maybe he learned from that to never fight when injured.

AA is a great boxer I agree 100%, but was there ever any talk between the two about a fight. If Kelly wins tomrrow night I would love to see him face PWill or after the super six AA.

What were the reasons(excuses) they didn't ever make the fight?(KP v. AA) The reason he didn't fight PWill was his staph infection which I can agree with.
