I don't remember any trash talk from Kelly, although Jack Loew is always shooting his mouth off.

No, I really think it was Pavlik himself who was spouting off all kinds about being the first to stop Hopkins and show him up for the old man that is, etc. I can't be arsed to dig up articles from over a year ago, but they're there for sure.

Nonetheless, he ended up being the one humiliated. I'm just glad Hopkins was such a gracious winner - he had nothing but the best to say about him after the fight was over (despite Pavlik's neo-**** cronies clambering into the ring and looking like they were about to lynch Hopkins the ol' fashioned way).

Kelly Pavlik gave us some great fights during 2005-2007: the war with Zuniga, a good fight with Zertuche, my personal favorite with Miranda, and the unforgettable world title fight with Taylor!

He's had some serious health problems. He wasn't healthy during the Hopkins fight - if he had been, I believe he would have done better. And he's been plagued with a hand injury, then a serious hand infection, and then a bad reaction to the antibiotics...

The poor guy has had a lot of bad luck in the past 15 months, but I belive that's about to change.

Watch for Kelly to have a very successful year in 2010!

One of two things is going to happen with Kelly. Either he has lost it, hey it does happen, or he'll score a couple of spectacular wins and get on track again.

I will not say where he is until the fight after this Espino dude. This Espino dude will not tell us much, unless of course Kelly looks terrible in it.

Most of the fans here are fair weather fans. I personally still Like Kelly Pavlik and Jermain Taylor. Both of them gave us tremendous fights over the years, both of them fell on hard times, but I would watch them in any fight because both of them can deliver in the ring.

I like Kelly as a fighter and a person, that's why I'm a fan. I'm not a fan of him because he's the most talented fighter in the world (he's obviously not), and also I don't allow losses to affect my opinion on a fighter.
