    Peace.
I hate to say it but I agree with you. This could be great if it works or horrible if it doesn't. Just stay at 147 or take a tune up at 154 before going for a belt.

I think he should fight Collazo on the eve of the P.R parade. I mean Collazo is skilled but doesn’t possess the pop of a higher weight class opponent and he doesn’t really bully his opposition with the exception of Berto.

          Peace.

He really should take a tune up before taking on a naturally bigger fighter that is skilled and looked very sharp in winning his title. Cotto needs a new corner, fun fighter to watch but has been taking to many beatings lately. He is actually looking to fight at 154 when he was in a 145 catch weight, go figure

I think Cotto beats Foreman providing he is still in a good mindset and not finished by the loss to Manny. Cotto is pretty good with backfoot style fighters, he cuts off the ring well and breaks down the body. Even though Yuri has a size advantage, he just isn't the type of fighter to beat Cotto imo. Not aggressive or heavy handed enough.

But to be safe I would like to see him in with another Jennings level guy before taking on Foreman. It would be a shame to see him come in looking rusty and past it and getting beat up by Foreman.

Foreman maybe, but staying at JMW beyond that seems un necessary, and putting him at more of a dis advantage.

He seems prone to being bulleyed since the Margarito fight, don't move up in weight then.

He's quite a compact skilled guy and I just don't think he's so suited to going up.

Wish him well but I struggle to see a particularly bright future for him now.

His best shot imo, was beating Hatton at 145. Oddly enough it's also Hattons best shot, but Cotto would win.
