People can die from dehydration & its inhumane. I highly doubt any of the licensing bodies would even allow such a stipulation.
no one ever puts restrictions on fight night weight.

the only time that stuff happened was the days of same day weigh ins.

        this is all bs.

people are ******. making excuses for delahoya and cotto with no basis.

I don't see how any of this makes any kind of sense, PBF never comes in over the ww limit(he was still below it against Marquez, although it was ****ed up). Besides the fact that Floyd doesn't drain himself to make weight, he's always 2-3 pounds more on fight night, not 15. He fought DLH and weighed in at 150 and if i recall correctly he actually went down in weight on fight night.

I think Cotto on his own accord rehydrated less to keep up with Pacquiao's speed maybe 152-154----BAD MISTAKE. I think he lost some of his punch resistance doing so.

He has no trouble weighing 147.

Oh, let's all listen to Burner, the kid who's never wrong!

                      Please explain this:

"Its no concern of mine whether it is 145 pounds or not," Cotto said.

"That is the usual weight that we cut down to for the weigh in, and in the ring—on fight night—I will go up eight to 10 pounds, so actually during the fight I will weigh around 155," stated Cotto.
