There's no way that Team pac can refuse testing. That would look really bad. Agreed? So, why complain? just embrace it and put on a face that you are gladly doing it.
That is how Dara Torres quelled drug rumours.

Dara Torres How can Olympian Dara Torres swim faster now, at age 41, than she did 20 years ago? In 2000, she hung up her goggles for about five years, and in 2006 she gave birth to her daughter, Tessa. How has she managed to come out of retirement, work out less than she did when she was younger, undergo two surgeries in the past year, and still break American records, including her own?
Torres has long been suspected of doping. And the more she is lionized as a middle-aged miracle, the louder the doubters become. She may not have failed a drug test, her critics point out, but neither did other athletes who later turned out to be dirty (Marion Jones, Antonio Pettigrew). She has volunteered for extra testing, but that can't prove definitively that she is clean because of the limitations of the tests. A further complication: Torres has been diagnosed (perhaps su****iously) with asthma and has said she takes medications containing albuterol and formoterol, which increase lung capacity and are verboten for Olympic athletes, except for those who get exemptions to take them for medical reasons (as more than a few athletes apparently do).Comment

All this steroid talk is ******ED.
To think that any person who builds muscle mass over time is on roids is ridiculous. I'm tired of people chiming in like they know what the hell they are talking about too. It's EASY to do what Pacquiao did with hard work and the right nutrition. It sickens me how much of an impact that bastard Floyd Sr. has had on peoples minds.
Keep in mind FLOYD SR. yeah that dumbass. He started all of this. We're going to go by what he thinks I guess then.Comment

Nice avatar.
This didn't really gain momentum (for me) until Lou DiBella commented. Of all the people who have spoken on the issue, i give LDB the most credibility.Comment

Irrespective of the Strunk-and-White ness of the Nathanielsz article, can we agree that testing does not hurt the perception of Manny? And can only help?

I am a huge Pacquiao fan, so I hope that Ariza didn't give him anything he shouldn't have.Comment

here's an interesting angle from sweetscience.
Pacquiao Steroid Claims By Mayweather Sr. Just Subterfuge
Actually, Floyd Sr. would love for Pacquiao to be on some type of steroid or HGH when he meets his son in three months. And the reason for that is he's fully aware that there's no drug or supplement available to anyone which helps a fighter take a better punch than he would if his system were free of them. Such a drug or steroid that transforms a fighter into a puncher via a bottle or needle doesn't exist, at least not in 2009. And if you've ever been around fighters who have experimented with them looking for an edge, you'd know they did nothing for them but mess up their body chemistry.
Here's the deal---pay no attention to what Floyd Mayweather Sr. has been spewing about Manny Pacquiao taking performance enhancing supplements and drugs. It's nothing more than subterfuge and a way for Floyd Sr. to inject himself into the biggest fight of the last 10 years. Remember, if such a supplement existed that helped fighters raise their pain resistance and increase their power every trainer in boxing would know about it, not just Panama Lewis and perhaps Freddie Roach.Comment
