Your picking at minor subtleties......I am thinking more over all package, objective in a fight and manner in which they proceed with their plan of attack.....the different body type is what accounts for the minor differences. Perhaps Wlad would use more bodily movement at the waist if he was not taller than about 95% of his opponents....what good does a shoulder roll do him if he has a weapon to keep most of his opponents away from him in the 1st place.

Speaking of picking..you don't address my whole posts. Its aite tho

            subtleties?

If I was 220.. with 80" reach, I would fight one way..

As a 165 lb guy with less reach I fight another... Also if I have pliability in my core, it allows me to do different things than if I have very little flexibility in my core.

I hear what you are saying about intent and objective and all that, but that only goes so far. That's like saying Wlad could be a t****ze artist because he's not afraid of heights.

Well it is not as if you would be a 220lb guy fighting 165lbers, you have to scale standards for speed, movement and output up and down when comparing the styles of fighters who greatly differ in size....otherwise you really can't compare anyone when there is a huge size differential like there is here......if we scaled Floyd up to HW and made him Wlad's height and weight how would he fight? would be do things differently?

You are asking me to scale down Floyd's skills .. why?

Muhammad Ali in prime had better movement, speed, and output than many welterweights dream of having...

If following that standard set by Ali, Floyd at Wlad's height and weight, and in shape?

would be a monster. A straight up mythical beast

Not his skills, those are learned and have nothing to do with his size. I am speaking exclusively about physical attributes and how he would fight at Wlad's size. If you can't do that then scale Wlad down to WW making him Floyd's size. How would he go about his attack without such a height advantage over opponents? He may have to learn different techniques to hit and not get hit yes? or better yet lets just make them 6'1" LHWs and how do the LHW versions of both do against eachother? Their similarities has much to do with their cautious mindsets and overall objective and belief in the method of how to win a boxing match.
