He was favourite against Cotto for good ness sake. Pac has come a long, long way. How many people in Cottos career were favourite against him, let alone someone who came from 116 or is it 106?

He is top 10 now perhaps and if he beats PBF, skys the limit.
so if manny is top 10 now..if floyd beats him..where will you rank him??

      My opinion....top 10.....

7 Division titleholder, KOing/TKOing each title holder in the process, evolving with each fight, has proven doubters / haters wrong everytime, beaten every type of boxer put in front of him (again IF he beats Floyd)...other than a final showdown with Mosley...what else would there be for Pac to accomplish in boxing? Kinda reminds me of Jordan when he won his 6th title....

Please no hate....only objective opinions and thoughts....we've been on a roll with some good "boxing talk" lately....let's keep it going.

Im a bit undecided and uncertain of my top 10. But i know what Pac has achieved. What he has achieved in comparison to the Durans, and SRLs of this world. Duran is agreat and all that, but he wasnt expected to beat Marvin Hagler. Yet Pac eventually convinced people that he would beat Cotto. And most people expected him to.

I know what Pacs victims have achieved, ie hatton, Cotto etc. I know what Pac did to Hatton at 140, and Cotto 145.

Horrible horrible post. Resume wise... Only fighter to win 4 lineal titles in 4 different weightclasses. Resume wise only in over a hundred years in history to win a Flyweight title and a Featherweight title... Come on now... Give credit where is due man...

Well.......where do boxing historians rank Henry Armstrong. He should be that high if not higher, after all Floyd is supposed to be unbeatable, the best defensive fighter of the past 30 or so years.....maybe beyond that. If Pac brings him his first loss, then he should be in the top 10 no questions.

I give Pacquiao credit for what he did to Hatton and I disagree that Hatton was weight drain.

Cotto is plainly just a bum who no one should get any credit for beating because his best wins were gift decisions against Mosley(draw) and Clottey(Clottey won that fight). This guys' best real win is against Zab Judah, a win that is seen by many as nothing in Floyd's resume despite Floyd beating Judah 2 years prior than Cotto did.

lol your Duran and Pac comparison is really not that good.

That was Hagler an ATG at MW also. Where Hargler is clearly top 5 all time. Do you think Pac would of been expected to beat Hagler at MW?

Do you think people would of been convinced that Duran would of beat Cotto?

Do you think Hatton at 140 and Cotto at 145 were ATG's? Honestly what would of Duran do them if he would of fought them?

Don't even follow that list. ESPN did a horrible job with this list. There too biased to the modern era. They didn't even put Harry Greb in the top 10 FFS. No Charles Burley, no George Dixon, or no Bob Fitszimmons. Also to have Oscar De la Hoya over Michael Spinks also a joke. And, to have Whitaker that low is just idiotic. This ESPN list should of never been taken seriously
