Cloud tries hard sure. I just don't think he's that good and I was ringside for the JC Gonzales fight where he performed really well.

I was disappointed in him when he fought Woods to be honest.

It seemed like his inactivity had him taking a step back.

Dude should fight more.

What you are saying about Cloud is totally true about not fighting often enough. But Dawson went inactive between March and November of this year, which is nearly eight months so people need to quit using double standards. Fighting two times this year is better than one, but nobody cares about Dawson because he's inactive on top of not having an entertaining style. Him and his fans shouldn't be making excuses about Cloud's inactivity because it's not like Dawson is the second coming of James Toney or JCC in that regard.

For both Dawson and Cloud I think I would be satisfied if Dawson fought Pascal next (most likely in March) and Cloud landed a fight with Tarver. Tarver would get Cloud on Showtime and is at least a name in the division, then maybe he could get Dawson or the winner of Mack-Johnson. I may be a little sick but even a fight with Roy Jones would be a fight with big name for Cloud. Especially since Roy will insist on continuing to fight.
