    I think you're talking nonsense. I'm almost certain {a normal, legal, prudent insertion}
    that there would be a caveat included to guard against unforseen circumstances, or, at very least, box office insurance.

    This is vey probably part and parcel of every normal boxing agreement.

    I don't know why this never occurred to me until now......Slow brains, maybe!!

        Haye is not a superstar, so he's of no use. If Vitali or Wlad beats him, the first thing out of the haters' mouths will be: "All they did was beat a blown-up cruiser with a glass chin." Haye may a superstar in the UK, but he isn't **** anywhere else.

        Marciano got (and still gets) the same criticism as the Klitschkos. "All he did was beat old guys like Joe Louis." Well, he beat who was around at the time, same as the Klitschkos. What else can you do? Whether they fight Haye or not is only of importance in the minds of Haye fans, who overrate him horribly. Povetkin is even a bigger challenge than Haye.

            My money will be on Ruiz for this one. Should get some nice odds, given all the Haye hype. Ruiz has abandoned his old huggy style and is going for the KO now. Would be funny as hell to see him lay Haye out cold.

              When you run the division and are offering a voluntary defense, of course you are going to make the rules. If Haye is who he says he is, he would have been set for life, ruler of the heavyweight division. Instead, he's a Sauerland/King butt boy.

I think if Haye fights smart like he did against Valuev but throws more he'll win.
                Sure Sure!!, And Santa Claus got stuck in the chimney whilst "on the job".......

                You really don't know what you're talking about. But I supose that's what makes this site a good one, to see such rubbish, and then see, reasoned, accurate rebuttals.

                  Yes think he'd be worried about Ruiz. If Ruiz fights to his normal standard he'll beat Haye, and will lose only if age has caught up with him.

                  I have a lot of respect for Ruiz, who, without any really obvious boxing talent, managed to say Champion for years, and be in everybody's top ten, for even more years, right up to the present day.

                    I have to agree. Dan Rafael reported on Ruiz's recent fight and said it was actually entertaining! Apparently Ruiz is serious about becoming more fan-friendly. He says his new team showed him why he kept falling forward and "hugging" so much (lack of balance) and he's learned to avoid it. If his legs hold up, he's got a very good chance to stop Haye. You're right in that Ruiz often finds a way to win. And as he's fighting Haye, Ruiz will for once have a lot of boxing fans on his side!

                      If Ruiz fights Haye the way he fought his last fight, he'll beat Haye easily, and actually his old style would beat Haye as well.

                      Haye proved against the tallest and lightest hitting heavyweight "champion" that he's scared to get into a real fight.
