If he beats Pac, Pac is still above Floyd this generation. Pacs performances and resume is too way out there for Floyd.
Plus Floyd is bigger than Pac. If Floyd beat Pac at 140 that would be better than beating him at 147. But we know Floyd cant come down or isnt willing to go to 140 and is rather cautios at 154 even.

thats just dumb. 140/147 it doesnt matter. it will not change anything. both fighters are more than viable at 147. they are the best at the weight. to say otherwise is foolish.

Im just saying PBF is naturally bigger than Pac and if he beats Pac, it wont make FLoyd this generations best. Morales beat Pac, and Morales aint this generations best as well. Morales is a helluva fighter, but not better than Pac.
Neither would floyd be if he beats pac.

So your saying that even if Floyd dismantles the "fighter of the decade", "Hero of Asia", "Most popular fighter on the planet" "8 division champ" Manny Pacquiao, that he can't be considered greater than Pacquiao because Mayweather is 2 inches taller?

I'm asking because the guy in this picture below does not look all that much heavier than Pacquiao.

just got here but, i kind of agree w/ grant on this one. yes, floyd would have beaten pac but, his legacy is insignificant. his knock down/ drag 'em out battles are few and far between, his taking on of seemingly insurmountable match-ups....non-existent and oh yes, let's not forget........nobody likes him. floyd's name doesn't ....DOES NOT! belong anywhere near likes of Ali, Frazier, Robinson, Patterson, Walcot, Louis (Joe), Hagler, Hearns, Etc.. The guy is a loud mouth arrogant Hood (b)rat. His uncle is street, His dad, his cousins are street, floyd is a punk. Sh-t! Roy Jones is higher on my list.

Rocky Marciano is on most peoples top 20 ATG list, and he barley cracked a finger nail in his career. Their careers are similar imo, but in the ring skill with outside persona makes Floyd infamous. Infamous people are rarely forgotten.

well ATG is all opinion anyway, people judge floyd soley by what he has done at 147 but it is what it is.... floyd wont be an all time great on some list but he will be on others, thats life...
