Why wont Dawson embrace the idea of fighting Pascal?

He folds under pressure, has terrible defense, gets ****** into a brawl, doesn't always use his speed. Inconsistent sometimes. He's not that good. He's exciting, but he's not great.

Excitement brings the money bud. Seeing Dawson fight someone under 40 is very alluring.

I agree in regards to haveing a poor defense, being inconsistent, and getting ****** into a brawl.

I wouldn't say he sucks though. I don't think he'll ever be the number one guy, but he's a solid top ten fighter.

Yeah, I think they'll try and go after Hopkins first, but tomorrow night's winner has 90-120 to fight Dawson, so we'll see what unfolds.

Pascal is a good and exciting fighter, but he makes too many mistakes which hinder him from being better.

Sure he wants to fight him, but they are offering them 3 millions to split. Hopkins made more than 3 million fighting Robert Allen the third time.

That's still the fight he wants. And plus, I haven't seen any evidence of Dawson dismissing Pascal. Shaw has openly said the winner of Pascal/Diancou is a viable next opponent.

Hopkins is just option number 1.

I love watching Pascal fight, he's exciting as hell!

I wouldn't mind seeing a Pascal vs Dawson fight, but I think a unification bout with Tarvoris Cloud would be a much more exciting.
