...running, potshoting and holding for 12 boring rounds is not good for boxing. I invited a few potential/casual boxing fans over to my house for the Marquez vs Mayweather fight and now I think they'll never watch another boxing PPV again. They looked like they were pissed at me for wasting 4 hours of their lives.

I wonder how many other potential fans Mayweather turned off with such performances. Mayweather has had a few HUGE opportunities to push Boxing into another Golden Era, but he hasn't capitalized. Good thing we have fighters like Manny Pacquiao, Miguel Cotto and Shane Mosley to counterbalance what Floyd is doing to the sport.

See the thing is...Mayweather fans know what kind of style he has....we dont expect him to overwhelm his opponents with punches and brawl....we appreciate his great technical skills. If you claim you are a REAL boxing fan whether you are a Pacquiao fan or not then you should appreciate one of the best pure all around boxers that boxing has ever had.

You can say Mayweather is a fraud, ducker, a **** and a ***** and every other name in the book...but one thing you cant deny is the mans boxing skills which can be compared to any fighter in boxing today.

Paying to see Marquez on Mexican Independence Day weekend.

Casual fans suckered in by the promotion and will now turn away from boxing because of Mayweather's stinky performance.
