    Getting the public all hyped up for the "BIG FIGHT" and then...

    ...running, potshoting and holding for 12 boring rounds is not good for boxing. I invited a few potential/casual boxing fans over to my house for the Marquez vs Mayweather fight and now I think they'll never watch another boxing PPV again. They looked like they were pissed at me for wasting 4 hours of their lives.

    I wonder how many other potential fans Mayweather turned off with such performances. Mayweather has had a few HUGE opportunities to push Boxing into another Golden Era, but he hasn't capitalized. Good thing we have fighters like Manny Pacquiao, Miguel Cotto and Shane Mosley to counterbalance what Floyd is doing to the sport.

    Same was said after Mayweather dominated Baldomir. I've heard this so many times before. You're mad because this so called "Boring Boxer" is also the biggest draw.

            Boxing organizations should consider potshoting as a form of cheating same as low blow, head butting, illegal wraps, etc… 'cause it cheats boxing fans of hard earned money to pay for a mind-numbing match.

              And that's precisely the problem. He's in a position to do great things for the sport. The spotlight is on him (not because he's entertaining in the ring). And the with so many eyes on him, he goes and stinks out the joint. That's not good. If he turns the fight with Pacquiao into a snoozefest, people will put boxing on hold for a while, especially when the fight's been rumored to be priced at $75.00 for PPV.

                  This is the hilarious beauty of Floyd Mayweather. He manages to get a guy that can't stand him to spend money to watch him fight.

                    Perro ... You definately seem to have an agenda when it comes to Mayweather. WTF is up with that?????

                    I tell you what ... its quite obvious that you're a Pac fan and I have 150K I'm itching to bet. {See where this is going??}

                    Let's sig it up ..... My 150K on Mayweather over Pac. against your 150K bet.

                    My post is not meant as a insult or to get on your case ..... I just see a Pac-Man believer .... who may be willing to put 150K on the line.
