...running, potshoting and holding for 12 boring rounds is not good for boxing. I invited a few potential/casual boxing fans over to my house for the Marquez vs Mayweather fight and now I think they'll never watch another boxing PPV again. They looked like they were pissed at me for wasting 4 hours of their lives.

I wonder how many other potential fans Mayweather turned off with such performances. Mayweather has had a few HUGE opportunities to push Boxing into another Golden Era, but he hasn't capitalized. Good thing we have fighters like Manny Pacquiao, Miguel Cotto and Shane Mosley to counterbalance what Floyd is doing to the sport.

You don't have to see it if you don't want to. If Floyd was doing something wrong he wouldn't hold the record for the highest PPV in history. Ok Oscar was a big part, 50% and the perfect good guy bad guy story helped but Oscar didn't do those number never again, not even with Pacquiao, fact.

So if people don't like Floyd's style why is he the best p4p fighter for so long? Yeah you will say it's Pacquiao now but nah man, Floyd skills, they don't come again not in 10 years if we are lucky.

Who cares? Every boxer gets hit/hurt at some stage. The guy still won the fight.
