The problem with Ortiz Quitting is not the fact that he quitted, is when He quitted.

Vazquez, JCC, Cotto, DLH, Morales all this guys accuse of quitting, well they quitt after proving time after time they are willing to engage in war with anybody, anytime.

Ortiz quitted the first time things got a bit rough!!

The situation Ortiz quit in (a fight that was still very winnable) and his post fight interview is what hurt him the most imo.

Victor needs to prove himself all over again! I think all them 1 round KO's he was racking up got to his head and he ended up overlooking Maidana, he probably thought he didn't need to train hard anymore, so if he does not want people to call him a quitter he better not ever pull that stunt ever again!

The sad Part is that, Maidana is no where near Ortiz in terms of skills.

If Ortiz would had stick to box he would had won easily!!

Same thing Happend to Juanma vs Mtagwa they anted to prove they are all macho and forgot they actually have great oxing skills, although Juanma prove atleast he have heart!!!

People need to STFU... If you're in the ring and you physically and mentally can't continue then there's nothing wrong with throwing in the towel and fighting another day... Who are you people to pretty much say a boxer needs to either be carried out on a stretcher or he's a quitter and a coward.... And You Champ you have the nerve to comment on Ortiz when you're savior Cotto did the same thing against Margarito... I would never condeem Cotto or Ortiz those guys were beaten to a pulp for throwing in the towel... You little cowards on this board would never step in a ring in your lives and you sit behind your keyboard and condeem Ortiz calling him a "quitter"... FOH idiot
