It is not just a TV, that is like calling an aircraft carrier just a boat.

That screen is one of the coolest things I have ever seen, and might be the coolest feature in any US stadium.

But Floyd is "MoneyMay", why not fight in Texas and get that extra 10 mil? Its not like either of them would have a home town advantage in Texas.

I didn't know Texas didn't have income tax like Nevada.

That thing is pretty sweet, considering nosebleeds would not be that pricey it would be like seeing the fight at a movie theatre only cooler because you are actually there and the screen is way bigger and clearer. I will say this if the fight was in Vegas I would still pay for a seat to see the broadcast of the fight on that thing.

Vegas makes more sence since there are more hotel rooms and it is more set up to do one time events, plus Vegas is a party town which makes any event just that much bigger because there is so much mingling going on. Plus they can do a bunch of closed circuit venue in Vegas.

Im really not sure how it works, but 10 mil is 10 mil, right? No reason not to fight there in my opinion. Gate sales would be higher therefore creating more interest in PPV, and its pretty much a neutral site. On top of that, the giant video screen ensures that every fan right down to the ones in the cheapest seats get to see the fight up close and still feel the electricity in the air.

                  Floyd's been living in Vegas...

Why wouldn't he want to fight in Vegas if he's living there...

The thing is. Vegas can make more with an arena 1/5 the size because the casino's are gonna get the high rollers who will drop 500k on a round of baccarat not to mention the normal fans ready to spend a ton.

and they will close circuit all over Vegas for the degenerate gamblers so that nullifies the large screen effect.

neutral site isn't good for this imo.

Personally, I don't care where it is, I just want to see it.

Just thinking of the reasoning of the promoters.
