Having it at the stadium would have INCREASED PPV buys because of the magnitude of the event. Stadium = big ****en event = more people interested = more ppv buys

there is a Big O tires and a wal mart across the street from the stadium...thats not luxury at all.....

the high rollers would rather be in their presidential hotel suites snorting lines of coke and ******** 2 minutes away

What a bunch of morons. The stadium is a spectacle by itself... hosting this event there would have thrown PPV & Ticket sales through the roof. Things can be done about fair judging...

I'm still hopeful that the Pac-May fight will take place somewhere other than Las Vegas. The mere fact that the venue would be different from every other big fight, which is virtually always held in Vegas, would help elevate the magnitude of the event even more. Don't get me wrong: I love Vegas and the excitement it generates for big shows. But this fight should differentiate itself from the other "superfights." It's an opportunity to help spread interest in boxing. The average person will know about this fight anyway, but the intrigue would be greater if they hear that it's being held at an interesting site. A 100,000+ capacity football stadium, worth 1.2 billion dollars, or any number of exotic locations, would be welcome. As electric as Vegas is, boxing won't grow if it's limited to "Sin City."

How would a fight in Cowboys Stadium result in more PPV buys? I don't think people are going to say "Hey, this is taking place in Cowboys Stadium! Let's buy the PPV" or "Oh god, this fight is happening in Vegas? I'm boycotting the fight!"

The media attention is already there and will stay no matter where the event is held. The venue is all about how much revenue a live gate would generate. It will have no effect on PPV buys or how much media attention it will receive.
