Why doesn't it make sense? Please give an explanation beyond, "The judging stinks." I mean, I don't really care where this fight eventually takes place. It's not like I'm going to be there. lol The only thing that I'd like to see is that the really big fights take place somewhere other than Las Vegas. I think it's good for the sport.

        1) Geography sucks. Fan base Pinoys etc isn't there. Some people may fly to Dallas, but it's not a destination place.

        2) Vegas will make a ton on things other than the fight, lots of gamblers, high rollers and movie stars

        3) Who would be able to actually see the fight in a 20x20 ring when the stadium is designed to watch football.

By staying in Vegas, GBP will get some kickbacks from MGM and other casinos. Floyd's town of residence.........I smell something fishey, i.e; ripoff/controversial decision in case the going gets rough for Floyd. Already stacking the deck in favor of the Money man.

The Cowboys' stadium has the largest display screen ever, you can clearly see the action in the ring from the nosebleeds.

It should be the same thing I guess as watching at the MGM. A big arena with lots of lights, the field area should be plenty big for the ring to fit. Since it has not been done before, I don't really know how well it turn out though.

Vegas is the common sense place with all the money at play but the decision not to even go and entertain the idea by meeting with Jerry Jones seems oddly unprofessional of Schaffer. Seems like a weird move for such a high profile businessman.

Yeah, they might as well check it out, but my feeling is the promotion would be harder.
Maybe they are worried about filling the place, I don't know.

If Im not mistaken, Arlington is between Dallas and Fort worth and there are plenty of hotels in the surrounding area. Im almost positive its only like 20 minutes away. That is nothing.
