          in hindsight he should have just fought marg.

          1. he wouldn't have had to go down to 147. he could have fought at 150.

          2. losing to a huge welterweight who at the time was #1 is a lot less embarassing than losing to a blown up featherweight. plus it would have been competitive.

              That's what I thought, but I read that on the boards yesterday when I asked what's this dude been doing for almost 35 years?

              Oh, and Oscar would've won if he kept throwing the jab. Maybe one fight in over 2 1/2 years and 9 years past his peak at #1 p4p had something to do with that.

                    Its hard to throw a jab..when you getting timed with right hands to the grill..Oscar stopped throwing it for a reason...He had to go for broke..he was getting out pointed...
