I believe Arum when he says this has nothing to do with Mayweather.

This is Schaeffer trying to find another revenue stream for Golden Boy by pushing this fight to an AEG arena such as the Staples Center. AEG is a part owner in GBP and would open up a back door revenue stream for GBP. This is sickening because if Mayweather has no paper with GBP they shouldn't even be involved.

But as I have said many times. Floyd does have paper with GBP. He just does not want to admit it. If he didn't have paper with them he would just let Al Haymon negotiate his whole deal for him.
